Reusable electrode set made of elastic material with a Velcro closure. Recommended for general stimulation treatment of the thighs.
Unlike adhesive electrodes, this allows for a different treatment approach. While an adhesive electrode can focus on a specific muscle, the flexible electrode stimulates the thigh muscles circumferentially, though with less precision. It is not suitable for microcurrent treatments and is not recommended in cases of paralysis or nerve injury. However, it is suitable for general muscle strengthening and regaining muscle strength after prolonged illness, surgery, or injury.
To use the flexible electrode, moisten it. Submerge the electrode in water and let it absorb moisture. Then squeeze out excess water so it doesn’t drip but remains damp. (Using it dry can cause a strong stinging, burning sensation which is uncomfortable. Only in a moist state do electrical impulses transmit properly!)
For general treatments, the flexible electrode can replace adhesive electrodes. As mentioned, it is not suitable for precise treatments such as paralysis, nerve injury, or microcurrent therapy—those should be performed effectively with adhesive or rubber electrodes.
