Details

The StimVet 200 is an electrostimulation device for muscle and pain relief designed for small animals. In veterinary rehabilitation and physiotherapy, electricity is used for two main purposes: reducing pain perception and stimulating excitable tissues (muscles). The pain-relieving effect is achieved through Gate Control theory membrane hyperpolarization, as well as increased hyperemia and levels of morphine-like mediators.
