Reusable electrode set made of elastic material with Velcro closure. Recommended for muscle stimulation treatment of the lower limb (calf and thigh muscles).

Unlike self-adhesive electrodes, this elastic electrode allows circular stimulation of the thigh muscles rather than focusing on a single muscle.

However, treatment precision is reduced. The elastic electrode is not suitable for microcurrent therapy and is not recommended for paralysis or nerve injury. It is suitable for general muscle strengthening and regaining muscle strength after prolonged illness, surgery, or injury.

The main use of the elastic electrode is to treat and reduce lower limb edema (venous and lymphedema). This can be done with 4-channel Globus stimulators that have 3S (series stimulation) programs. Series stimulation triggers muscle contractions with a delay: first the calf muscles, then, after an adjustable delay, the thigh muscles. This simulates muscle activity during walking, which drives venous and lymphatic circulation, improving edema.

Before use, the elastic electrode must be moistened. Immerse it in water until fully absorbed, then squeeze out excess so it is wet but not dripping. (Using it dry causes strong stinging and burning, which is uncomfortable. Only when wet do the electrical impulses transfer properly!)

The elastic electrode can also replace the self-adhesive electrode for general treatment, but as mentioned, it is not suitable for paralysis, nerve injury, microcurrent therapy, etc. These should be performed with self-adhesive or rubber electrodes for effective results.
