Usage recommendation

For successful stimulation (TENS/EMS), it's important to place the electrode pads properly. Maintain a 5-15 cm distance between the two electrodes on one channel.

Note: Always use electrodes in pairs (two electrodes per channel) so the current can flow in a circuit.

Before use

1. Ensure your skin is clean and dry. Do not place electrodes on broken skin or areas with impaired sensation.
2. Firmly press the lead connectors into the electrode connector ends.
3. Gently peel the electrodes off the protective plastic sheet by grasping and lifting one corner. Warning: Do not pull on the electrode cables.
4. Turn off the device before applying or removing the electrodes.
5. Place the sticky side of the electrodes around the painful area and press firmly onto the skin. For precise placement examples, see the enclosed guide.
6. After use, carefully remove the electrodes from your skin by grasping a corner of the electrode.
7. Always return the electrodes to the plastic sheet and store them in a resealable plastic bag.

Tips

• The electrodes are reusable but should be used by one patient only.
• The electrodes are latex-free. The adhesive is a water-based hydrogel.
• For optimal conductivity, ensure the electrodes are in good condition and sticky.
• Replace electrodes if they lose their adhesiveness or dry out.
• In very hot weather, the gel may soften on the electrodes.

Storage lifespan

The electrodes last for 12-20 uses, depending on skin condition and humidity. In unopened packaging, they have a 3-year shelf life. This may decrease under very high temperatures or low humidity.

Warnings

• Do not ignore allergic reactions to the electrodes: if skin irritation occurs, discontinue device use as some users may be sensitive to the gel.
• The electrodes are intended for use only with nerve stimulators compliant with EN ISO 60601-1 and EN ISO 60601-2-10 standards.
• Important: Observe all contraindications, precautions, and warnings provided with your device.
