The material and quality of ValueTrode and ValueTrode X electrodes are identical. The difference is the 2mm wide adhesive-free edge on the ValueTrode X electrodes, which makes removing the electrode from the skin easier. Simultaneously, the electrical impulse delivery area is slightly smaller, which may minimally affect treatment efficiency.
Role of the TENS electrode
- During electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, MCR, KOTZ, INTERFERENCE), impulses are delivered through electrodes attached to the skin.
- The electrode surface contains gel (a jelly-like substance) that ensures unobstructed transmission of impulses to the skin.
The TENS electrode is reusable
- After treatment, carefully remove from skin and stick back onto a plastic sheet.
- The electrode can be used as long as the adhesive still sticks well.
- If it no longer adheres or the center dries out, discard and purchase a new set.
- Do not share electrodes between users to prevent infections!
