Who might this be suitable for?
Erectile dysfunction often accompanies conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, elevated blood lipid levels, or neurological disorders (e.g. multiple sclerosis). In such cases the vacuum device can be a drug-free alternative after consulting your doctor.
Some heart medications preclude the use of erection-promoting tablets; in other cases the medication does not produce the expected result or causes side effects. The mechanical vacuum solution may be an option here as well — in consultation with your treating physician.
Prostate disease or surgery, penile vascular disease, hormonal disorders or lifestyle factors (smoking, alcohol) can also lead to erectile dysfunction. Note: for post-operative rehabilitation the Rehabi PVT penis trainer was developed.
How does it work? – Mechanism of action
The physiological basis of an erection is blood flowing into the corpora cavernosa of the penis, causing them to expand. The vacuum device mechanically supports this process: the low pressure (vacuum) created in the tube produces negative pressure around the penis, which promotes local inflow of blood and the formation of an erection.
After achieving erection, the constriction ring placed at the base of the penis prevents blood outflow, so the erection can persist after the tube is removed — for up to half an hour. Because the device contains no medication, its effect does not impose a pharmaceutical burden on the body.
Frequently asked questions
The constriction ring may be kept in place for a maximum of 30 minutes, never longer. Prolonged or overly tight use should be avoided — if you experience any pain, numbness or discolouration, remove the ring immediately.
If you are receiving anticoagulant treatment or have a bleeding disorder, using a vacuum device requires extra caution due to the risk of bruising. In such cases, be sure to consult your treating physician before use.
When used correctly it is not painful. The vacuum and the constriction ring may feel unusual at first, but the lubricant gel and selecting the correct ring size help ensure comfortable use. Always build up the vacuum gradually.
The Manual Erection System operates with a hand pump, which is simple and reliable. If you prefer one-handed, easier operation, the Active Erection System works with a battery-powered motor pump and can assist erection in as little as one to one and a half minutes.
The product belongs to the intimate hygiene device category, therefore for health and hygiene reasons we accept returns only in unopened, sealed packaging (45/2014 Government Decree, Section 29 § (1) e)).
How to use? Step by step
Preparation
Apply the supplied lubricant gel to the rim of the tube and to the base of the penis — this helps sealing and comfortable use. Select the constriction ring size that suits you.
Creating the vacuum
Place the penis into the tube and press the tube's end against the body. By repeatedly operating the hand pump a vacuum is created gradually, causing local blood engorgement and producing an erection.
Applying the ring
After achieving erection, slide the ring on the tube to the base of the penis, then remove the tube. The ring maintains the erection — for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Cleaning and storage
After use the device is easily cleaned with warm water. All components can be stored in the supplied bag until the next use.
