The Aerobika OPEP is an excellent drug-free device designed for home use, applied in the treatment of COPD and the prevention of flare-ups.
The patient must breathe in and out through the device. The device maintains a positive end-expiratory pressure and also creates oscillation (air vibration), which helps loosen and remove the sticky mucus lining the airways.
