Who do we recommend the RF Clinic Body device for?
Forehead, eye area (crow’s feet), mouth and nose area, jawline – for fine facial wrinkles and skin with lost tone, the dedicated face programs (including the eye-wrinkle and face micro-lifting programs) can gently support a firmer appearance.
For looseness of the neck and décolletage, the décolletage micro-lifting and the programs targeting skin elasticity can provide gentle support for a firmer appearance.
A dedicated program is designed to improve the appearance of stretch marks (striae). The controlled heat can support dermal renewal processes, which may gradually positively influence the treated surface’s appearance.
The wrinkle program for sensitive skin works with gentler settings, so those whose skin reacts more sensitively to treatments can also try it.
The acne program can help treat oilier areas by the heating effect on the sebaceous glands. It should be used as an adjunct treatment and not as a replacement for active dermatological therapy.
What happens under the skin? – Mechanism of action
Radiofrequency is a high-frequency alternating current (for this device between 470 kHz and 2 MHz) that changes direction so rapidly that it does not stimulate muscles or nerves. Instead, electrical energy is converted into heat in the tissues – a process known in medical practice as diathermy.
The controlled heat reaches the dermis layer where collagen fibers are located. The increased temperature causes existing collagen fibers to shorten and contract (denature), which can produce a palpable tightening during the treatment. Subsequently – typically in the weeks and months after treatment – the skin initiates self-renewal processes similar to wound healing, which research suggests can contribute to the formation of new collagen and elastin. This explains why patience is important: the real result unfolds gradually during and after the full treatment cycle.
Frequently asked questions
If you have any existing health condition, please consult your treating physician before use. The device is not suitable for everyone – contraindications are collected in a separate section below.
No. Radiofrequency application is contraindicated for people with a pacemaker or large metal prosthesis. The device is for external use only on intact, undamaged skin.
RF Clinic Body is the simpler, entry-level model: 10 programs (4 face, 6 skin) and one RF100 treatment head, primarily intended for treating the face, neck and décolletage. RF Clinic Pro is more comprehensive, with 30 programs (including cellulite programs) and two treatment heads (RF100 + RF500) for larger body areas.
It is not painful. When the treatment head touches the skin you will feel a pleasant warmth, which can be adjusted between milder and stronger levels to suit the area’s sensitivity.
Many notice slight firming after the first sessions. For more lasting results, experience suggests at least 10–15 treatments of 10–20 minutes each, performed 2–3 times per week.
The effect of a full treatment cycle can last for several months. As skin aging continues naturally, occasional repeat treatments can help maintain the result. Duration also depends on age and lifestyle (e.g., smoking).
How to use – step by step
Cleanse your skin
Before treatment, thoroughly cleanse the area to be treated so no cream or other product remains on the skin.
Apply the conductive gel
Spread the supplied gel on the skin. The gel helps the treatment head glide evenly and ensures uniform heat transfer.
Select the program
From the menu choose the area (face or skin), then the program that matches your goal. The device automatically loads the corresponding settings.
Move the treatment head in circular motions
Guide the treatment head slowly in circular motions — as if drawing eights — across the skin. Never stay in one spot to avoid overheating the surface.
Set the warmth to a comfortable level
You can adjust the intensity with the Up/Down buttons. A pleasant warmth indicates the right level; adapt the treatment to the sensitivity of the treated area.
Keep the rhythm – patience is key
The recommended protocol is 2–3 times per week, totaling 10–15 treatments. The effect of a cycle can last several months, and periodic repetition is advisable.
What’s in the box?
RF Clinic Body arrives with the complete equipment needed for use:
- 1 pc RF Clinic Body main device
- 1 pc RF100 bipolar treatment head
- 1 pc Conductive gel
- 1 pc Power supply (AC/DC charger)
- 1 pc Carrying case
After use, detach the treatment head and remove the gel with a soft, slightly damp cloth (or a 75% water – 25% denatured ethanol solution), then dry it. Do not immerse the device in water, expose it to humid or dusty environments, or leave it in direct sunlight. Periodically check the treatment head for damage: if you see a crack, stop using it and have it replaced.
A conductive gel is required for the treatment to aid the treatment head’s smooth glide and heat transfer. The package contains gel; it can be replenished later as an accessory.
