Are you fed up with constant pain — but don't want to take medication forever? SonicRelief uses the same therapeutic ultrasound technology that physiotherapists use but now you can use it anytime in the comfort of your home. Why choose the SonicRelief device? Deep-penetrating 1 MHz frequency The 1 MHz ultrasound waves can reach tissues deeper than 5 cm, making it suitable for treating larger joints (knee, hip, shoulder) and deeper muscles. 5-10-15 minute timer The built-in safety timer automatically stops ultrasound emission after the selected treatment time. You don't need to watch the clock — the device looks after you. Professional treatment at home The same technology used in physiotherapy clinics — but without multiple weekly trips to the clinic. Save time and money with regular at-home treatments. What to use it for? Stiff in the morning, and by midday your knee just aches? ▼ Sound familiar? When you get up, it takes minutes to get your joints moving. Going downstairs reminds you with every step that something is wrong with your knee. Squatting? Kneeling? You avoid it. At night you go to bed knowing the same will happen tomorrow morning. Physiotherapy treatments help — but who can go to the clinic 4–5 times a week? SonicRelief allows you to apply 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound at home when it suits you. Studies suggest regular ultrasound treatment can positively affect joint pain, especially in the knee, shoulder and hip. Pulled something again? Another 2 weeks off? ▼ You slipped while running and pulled your thigh. Your elbow aches after tennis. After a workout your shoulder won't let you move properly. Sound familiar? As an athlete you know an injury is not only painful — it costs missed training days and lost fitness. SonicRelief can help speed up recovery. Athletes have used therapeutic ultrasound for decades to treat strains, sprains and tendon inflammations. Now you can use it at home — right after training or the next morning. The device is compact and fits in your gym bag. By 3 PM you can hardly turn your neck? ▼ Eight hours in front of a screen. The muscles around your shoulders feel like tight ropes. Your neck locks, your head feels heavy. Turning your head? You'd rather rotate your whole torso. You go to bed with a headache and wake up with a stiff neck. And tomorrow it starts again. Neck and back pain are common with prolonged sitting — but it doesn’t have to stay that way. SonicRelief targets tight muscles. Meta-analyses indicate therapeutic ultrasound can reduce pain intensity in neck complaints. Treatments take only 5–10 minutes, up to 15 minutes — you can even do it in the office during your lunch break. Can you tell from the weather that it will be a bad day? ▼ Your body already signals the weather front. It takes longer in the morning for your joints to “oil up.” Some days even your usual walk feels strenuous. The doctor said: wear, osteoarthritis — and that exercise is important. But how do you move when it hurts? SonicRelief is a simple at-home solution for everyday use. No appointments, no travel — you decide when to treat yourself. The device is easy to use: one button starts it and it stops automatically. Regular ultrasound treatment may help maintain mobility and reduce pain. How to use it? It's that simple: 1 Apply ultrasound gel Clean the area of skin to be treated, then apply a generous amount of ultrasound gel. The gel is essential for energy transmission — without it the device may not turn on and the treatment effect may be lacking! 2 Turn on the device Press the power (ON) button. SonicRelief operates with safe, preset parameters — no complicated settings required. 3 Set the treatment time Use the Time button to select the treatment duration. 5, 10 and 15 minutes are available — choose 5 minutes for areas smaller than your palm, 10 minutes for palm-sized areas and 15 minutes for larger areas. 4 Set the treatment intensity Use the Mode (treatment intensity) button to set the ultrasound intensity. Choose L (low), M (medium) or H (high). For very recent injuries select low intensity. For persistent, multi-week or chronic complaints you may choose H (high) intensity. 5 Keep it moving Place the device head on the skin and move it slowly in circular motions over the treatment area. Never hold it in one spot! You may feel a mild warming sensation during treatment.Attention! The device has a contact sensor! If there isn't enough gel or the device-skin contact is poor, ultrasound emission will stop and the LEDs will blink green. 6 Done in minutes The device automatically stops after the set time. Turn the main switch to OFF. Wipe remaining gel off the device and your skin. Rest the treated area. One treatment per day is recommended. Watch it in action In his 17-part video series, Dr. Zátrok Zsolt demonstrates step-by-step how to use therapeutic ultrasound, the correct settings and safe application. What's in the package? SonicRelief therapeutic ultrasound device Power adapter Aquaultra ultrasound gel, 1 tube Online user manual (Hungarian) What else do you need to buy? ▼ The price includes everything needed to start using the device immediately. With regular use, however, ultrasound gel will need to be replenished because the gel is essential for ultrasound. Without gel ultrasound waves cannot enter the tissues — air does not conduct ultrasound. We recommend ordering at least one bottle of ultrasound gel together with the device. Click here to replenish accessories anytime: Ultrasound accessories → Frequently asked questions How often can I use the device? The device may be used on the same area once daily for a maximum of 15 minutes per session. The device automatically stops after the set time. Multiple adjacent areas can be treated consecutively. For longer-lasting results it is recommended to use it regularly for 2, up to 4 weeks. Can I use it with a pacemaker? NO. Therapeutic ultrasound must not be used near an implanted cardiac pacemaker because it may interfere with its function. At locations distant from the chest — for example at the ankle, knee, or lumbar spine — this risk does not apply and your physician may permit use on those distant sites. Do I feel anything during treatment? Most users feel mild warmth or slight tingling. The device does not vibrate and is not a massager — therapeutic ultrasound works at a microscopic level in the tissues. If you feel a burning sensation, it may mean you are holding the device in one spot too long or the intensity is too high. Stop the treatment or move the device faster or reduce the intensity. Why is ultrasound gel necessary? Air does not conduct ultrasound — without gel the device cannot deliver energy into the tissues. Ultrasound gel ensures uninterrupted energy transfer, and without it the treatment is ineffective or will not start due to lack of contact. Always use gel specifically made for ultrasound treatments! How does this differ from professional devices? SonicRelief uses the same 1 MHz therapeutic ultrasound technology as physiotherapy clinics. The difference is in the safe, preset parameters: the home-use device prevents excessively high intensity and automatically stops after a maximum of 15 minutes. How soon will I notice improvement? Individual responses vary. Some users notice changes after only a few treatments, but for more durable results regular use for about 10–15 days is usually needed. If there is no noticeable improvement after 20–25 treatments, ultrasound is probably not the appropriate method for that complaint. When NOT to use the device? In patients with an implanted cardiac pacemaker (in areas close to the pacemaker) In active deep vein thrombosis (on the affected limb) Malignant tumor at the treatment site (use on distant areas may be considered) During pregnancy over the abdomen and pelvic area (joints distant from the abdomen may be treated) Open wound or active infection at the treatment site Severe osteoporosis directly under the treatment area The eye, skull, thyroid or heart regions Over the growth cartilage areas of children Unsure? Consult your treating physician before use! Important information Therapeutic ultrasound is a complementary method — it does not replace medical treatment or prescribed medications.
