The Globus TecarVet 2000 is a compact, portable TECAR therapy device that offers the quality of the manufacturer's professional solutions with reduced size and weight. The device operates with a special bipolar, resistive handpiece that speeds up animal preparation and treatment procedures while maintaining therapeutic effectiveness. It includes programs specially designed for dogs and cats (e.g., osteoarthritis, muscle contracture, tendinopathy, edema).

TECAR therapy works by generating endogenous heat: an alternating, high-frequency electric field causes heat generation within treated tissues, enhancing circulation, metabolism, and regeneration. The resistive method targets deeper, higher-resistance structures (e.g., bone, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, fascias), while the capacitive method (not available with the TecarVet 2000) affects more superficial tissues.
For more intensive use, a broader frequency range, and higher power, the TecarVet 4000 is the brand's larger model (160 W, 400/470/700/1000 kHz) designed mainly for large animals and more complex protocols.
