The Globus TecarVet 2000 is a compact, portable TECAR therapy device that offers the quality of the manufacturer's professional solutions with reduced size and weight. The device operates with a special bipolar, resistive handpiece that speeds up animal preparation and treatment procedures while maintaining therapeutic effectiveness. It includes programs specially designed for dogs and cats (e.g., osteoarthritis, muscle contracture, tendinopathy, edema).
Price includes: 1× TecarVet 2000 device, 1× bipolar handpiece Ø 50 mm, 1× 260 ml contact gel, 1× power adapter, 1× professional carrying bag
(The above programs are provided pre-set on the device.)
TECAR therapy works by generating endogenous heat: an alternating, high-frequency electric field causes heat generation within treated tissues, enhancing circulation, metabolism, and regeneration. The resistive method targets deeper, higher-resistance structures (e.g., bone, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, fascias), while the capacitive method (not available with the TecarVet 2000) affects more superficial tissues.
For more intensive use, a broader frequency range, and higher power, the TecarVet 4000 is the brand's larger model (160 W, 400/470/700/1000 kHz) designed mainly for large animals and more complex protocols.
The device is intended for professional, medical device use. Specific protocols (power, duration, mode) should always be selected based on diagnosis and the manufacturer’s instructions under veterinary supervision. Contraindications, precautions, and detailed usage instructions are provided in the accompanying documentation. The therapy is non-invasive, painless, and provides fast pain and edema relief.
Note on choosing: if you're primarily looking for a easily portable, programmable TECAR device for small animal rehabilitation, the TecarVet 2000 is an ideal professional entry-level option. If you work in equine practice or require higher power, consider the TecarVet 4000 model as well.
