Details

When connected to a manometer or the evoStim P electrotherapy device, the probe can assess pelvic floor and vaginal muscle strength and monitor treatment progress.

It can also be used for pressure-biofeedback-induced electrostimulation (ETS).

Use a lubricant during treatment.
Connect the luer-lock connector to the manometer or evoStim P device.
Connect the stimulation cable to the evoStim P device.
Insert the probe into the vagina so that only the rubber section is inside and the plastic housing remains outside.
Squeeze the sphincter muscles voluntarily and record the reading from the manometer or device display.
If training the sphincter muscles is the goal, repeat the exercise the recommended number of times.
After use, clean and dry the probe, and store it in a sealed bag.
The probe can be disinfected with standard household disinfectants.
Do not autoclave.
