PeriProbe VBFT Vaginal Probe for Manometric Biofeedback

The PeriProbe VBFT is a vaginal balloon probe for manometric (pressure-based) biofeedback. It is not an electrostimulation probe but a measuring probe: intended to measure voluntary squeeze strength of the pelvic floor and vaginal muscles, for assessment and monitoring the effectiveness of training.

When connected to a manometer or the evoStim P device, it is suitable for testing the strength of pelvic floor and vaginal muscles, monitoring treatment effects, and checking sphincter training.

In the manufacturer's catalog, the VBFT appears as the electrode-free version of the V2STFW balloon probe, designed exclusively for pressure biofeedback. This is important: it does not stimulate, does not apply electrical current, and has no gold-plated electrode. This is advantageous regarding metal allergies because there is no metal electrode surface in contact with the mucosa — however, it cannot be used for electrostimulation.
