PeriSphera A Rectal Probe

PeriSphera A is a 4-electrode anal probe for the rehabilitation of male urinary incontinence—particularly post-prostatectomy leakage—as well as fecal incontinence and defecation disorders.

A manufacturer-specified insertion depth is adjustable between 40–55 mm using the 4-position safety stop. This is not a minor convenience feature but an important anatomical adjustment option. The 4 electrodes can be connected to separate channels or to a single channel with a Y-cable, but two-channel use is ideal for targeted treatment. The design allows more selective treatment of the puborectalis muscle and the internal anal sphincter.

This probe belongs to the 4-lead, more professional category of anal treatments. It is primarily recommended for use with the evoStim UG device, especially for male post-prostatectomy incontinence or fecal incontinence.

The electrodes have a gold-plated, nickel-free surface, making this probe a preferable choice for users with metal allergies.
