PeriSphera AT vaginal probe, thin

The PeriSphera AT is a thin, 11 mm diameter vaginal probe, intended primarily for vaginismus, limited vaginal access or sensitive anatomical situations. It is used when inserting a standard-size vaginal probe would be uncomfortable, difficult, or impossible.

The manufacturer specifically recommends it for limited vaginal access and vaginismus. Its mere 11 mm diameter and the lateral electrode arrangement facilitate stimulation of the perivaginal muscles. The safety stopper helps set insertion depth and direction and can be removed if needed.

Important: this is also a 4-electrode / 4-lead probe, so it is not simply a slimmed-down basic probe. It is designed for two-channel treatment and is therefore primarily recommended for the evoStim UG device. For patients seeking solutions for vaginismus, this is a more realistic recommendation than forcing a larger-diameter vaginal probe.

The electrodes have a nickel-free gold-plated surface, making them a better choice for users with metal sensitivities.
