PeriSphera H Vaginal Probe

Electrotherapy probe for effective treatment of female urinary incontinence, suitable for both electrostimulation and biofeedback.

The probe features a dual circuit consisting of four radially arranged electrodes designed to independently capture each branch (left and right) of the pubic muscle.

Its advantage is the ability to treat the two branches of the pubococcygeus muscle asymmetrically and independently but simultaneously, using two electrostimulation channels or two EMG biofeedback channels (especially useful in cases of muscle asymmetry due to episiotomy).

The PERISPHERA®-H probe’s electrodes perfectly conform to the resting vaginal cavity, characterized by its “H” profile.

The two pairs of electrodes crossing the left and right branches of the pubic muscle allow separate detection of the action potentials (EMG) produced by each branch during the contraction phase, providing the therapist with objective information on pelvic floor muscle status.

The Perisphera H probe is made of biocompatible plastic with a gold-plated, nickel-free coating, making it safe for users with metal sensitivities.

The Perisphera H probe MUST NOT be sterilized or boiled. Clean before and after use with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water. For hygiene reasons, replacement is recommended every 6–12 months.

Instructions for Using the Probe

1. Before use, clean the probe with soapy water and dry it.
2. Apply conductive gel for electrotherapy, ensuring full coverage of the electrodes but avoiding connector ports.
3. Ensure the device is off before connecting the probe.
4. Insert the cable plugs into the probe’s connector ports.
5. Gently insert the probe into the vaginal opening so that both bulbs are inside and the stopper remains outside.
6. After treatment, turn off the device before removing the probe. Grip the probe handle, not the cable, and disconnect the cable.
7. Clean and dry the probe again and store it in a sealed bag.
8. Clean the treated area to remove gel using soapy water and dry.
9. The probe can be disinfected with standard household disinfectants.
10. Do not sterilize in an autoclave.
