TensCare Breast/Chest: 6x13cm, curved self-adhesive tens electrode pad / pin-type for breast and chest muscle TENS, EMS, IF, Kotz therapies.

Used for breastfeeding, pain relief, toning, and much more.

Specifically designed for use on the breasts to support and maintain breastfeeding, lift and firm breast tissue, and also used for pain relief.

Additionally, with beauty and fitness devices, it can lift and tone the breasts or chest muscles.

Reusable up to 30 times.

Compatible with most TENS and EMS devices (2 mm round pin connection).

How to use

Connect the electrode to the TENS or EMS stimulator so that the (+) lead is closest to the arm, and the (-) lead is closer to the sternum.

Note: Electrode pads must always be used in pairs (two electrodes per channel) to complete the circuit.

  1. Before use, ensure the skin is clean, grease-free, and dry. Do not place electrodes on skin lacking normal sensation or on damaged skin.
  2. Firmly press the pin ends of the cable into the electrode’s "tail" connector socket.
  3. Remove the electrodes from the plastic backing by gently peeling from one corner. Never pull by the cable! Always check that the device is turned off before applying or removing electrodes.
  4. Place the adhesive side of the electrode pads as shown in the image, so the upper and lower electrodes align along the chest muscle line.
  5. Remove electrodes from the skin by gently grabbing the edge and peeling off carefully.
  6. After use, always place electrodes back on the plastic backing and store in the resealable plastic bag.

Toning (lifting sagging breasts):

Use with an EMS unit such as Premium 400, Activa 700, Elite, Elite 150 devices. Select a muscle tone enhancing (breast lifting) program and start.

To initiate lactation (milk production):

Use with a TENS device. For maximum benefits, select burst mode programs (2 bursts per second).

  • Place the electrode pads on both sides of the nipple, 1-2 cm from the areola. Connect the leads from the same channel to one breast: connect one electrode pad to the (+) lead and the other to the (-) lead.
  • Select the program and use for 15 minutes every two hours. Stimulation of sensory nerves in the breast with a TENS device mimics infant suckling, prompting your body to produce the hormone prolactin needed for breastfeeding. This stimulation should cause a mild tingling sensation. Prolactin is released from the pituitary gland in approximately 4-5 discrete impulses over 15-20 minutes during suckling. Afterwards, no further release occurs for a time, so stimulating the breast for longer than 20 minutes is unnecessary and does not release more prolactin.
  • Once milk production starts, do not use TENS to replace regular breastfeeding, as milk retained in the alveoli may cause them to close.

When to begin stimulating milk production?

Breastfeeding can be a challenge for some mothers, especially adoptive or surrogate mothers. Breastfeeding not only meets the baby’s hunger and supports optimal growth but also always fosters bonding between mother and baby. Many women wish to initiate breastfeeding for the emotional benefits and closeness experienced by both mother and baby.

The process of inducing lactation is not complicated but can be slow. It is recommended to start stimulation about six weeks before the baby’s arrival. Actively stimulate your breasts for 10-15 minutes every 3-4 hours throughout the day. After several days or weeks (or months) of stimulation, swelling of breasts and nipples is expected. They may feel larger, painful, and tender. These are normal signs that new milk-producing glandular tissue is developing in the breasts, which is necessary to start milk production. Once milk appears and you are not yet breastfeeding, use a hospital-grade breast pump to empty the breast after using the TENS device. Emptying helps establish more robust milk production.
