The UltraStim® electrodes are designed to distribute the electrical current evenly, which is ensured by the silver grid pattern.
This silver grid pattern is also a patented Axelgaard process. It is precisely calculated to distribute the electric current evenly over the electrode surface. The border around the silver grid pattern eliminates any discomfort on the electrode edges.
The UltraStim® electrodes use Axelgaard's patented multi-layer MultiStick® hydrogel.The role of the TENS electrode
- In electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, MCR, KOTZ, INTERFERENCIA), the pulses are delivered through electrodes that are glued to the skin.
- The electrode surface contains a gel (gelatinous substance) that ensures unobstructed transmission of the pulse to the skin.
The TENS electrodes can be used repeatedly
- The electrodes can be carefully detached from the skin after treatment and glued back onto a plastic sheet.
- As long as the adhesive adheres properly, the electrode can be used.
- If it no longer sticks and the middle dries out, discard it and get a new set.
- Do not use the same electrode more than once, as it can transmit infections!
