Symptoms A-Z
The majority of diseases and conditions cannot be resolved in one or two days. Full recovery usually takes longer, often several months! During that time, you can’t stay in the hospital the entire time, and doctors or nurses can’t be by your side continuously.
When you’re discharged from the hospital, it doesn’t mean you’re fully recovered, but that you’ve passed the hardest part and must finish the rest at home. After receiving some physiotherapy, electrotherapy, etc., in the hospital, you should continue treatments at home until complete recovery.
We have grouped the home-use medical devices — which can be used safely without a doctor present — by symptom. Select the symptom you want to treat, and you’ll find the devices you can use for that particular issue.
There are differences between various physiotherapy devices. One device is suited to one purpose, another to a different one. Ultrasound works differently than a soft laser, and so on. It’s similar to cutlery: a spoon is for one thing, a knife and a fork for another.
Ask your attending physician which device is right for you. If you’re unsure which among the many device options is best suited to your needs, ask our expert for help!
