Consumers
For DEVICES (products purchased after May 8, 2024), we provide the legally required warranty period, which is generally:
- 24 months for items with a selling price higher than 10,000 forints but not exceeding 250,000 forints,

Before May 8, 2024, the required warranty period for devices between 10,000 and 100,000 forints was 12 months. For devices purchased before May 8, 2024, the warranty period applicable at the time of purchase applies.
Attention!
The warranty applies to devices and is not valid for accessories and add-ons. These products also have warranty coverage, but it differs from that of the devices.
- 6-month warranty applies to the following products: power adapter, power cable, stimulation cable, SpO2 sensor, magnetic coil, ultrasound treatment head, batteries
- 3-month warranty applies to the following products: rechargeable batteries, Nurosym USB charger and ear clip electrode.
- No warranty applies to the following product types: single-use materials, gels, creams, self-adhesive electrodes, materials in contact with body surfaces, hygiene products, etc.
Businesses

Important Information
The invoice issued by us also serves as a warranty certificate. To claim warranty rights, you do not need any other document or additional "proof".
The warranty period for the product is indicated on the product invoice.
The product's serial number or LOT (batch) number is recorded on the product invoice. Please ensure that you preserve the sticker containing your device's serial number.
The warranty starts from the date of invoice issuance.
In case of warranty problems with products having serial numbers, you do not need to present an invoice copy or warranty certificate; it is sufficient to refer to the product's serial number. We can identify product-related data and warranty validity in our system.
For most distributed products, our company provides service for malfunctions beyond the warranty period.
The warranty does not cover malfunctions or damages resulting from improper use, so please carefully read the user manual included with the product!
Reasons excluding warranty validation
If the fault occurred due to improper transport, storage, installation, or unprofessional maintenance of the product;
If the product fault arose from non-intended use or use different from that described in the user manual:
improper, unprofessional handling, mechanical damage or other external factors (particularly, but not exclusively: power fluctuations, extreme voltage or temperature fluctuations, high contamination, liquid entering the product - into parts that should not contact liquids-, excessive moisture contact with the product, fire contact);
If the cause of product malfunction is installation and/or commissioning error (particularly, but not exclusively: lack of grounding in wall outlet or other network connection, connecting and disconnecting the product to/from the electrical network while not switched off/not de-energized,) or supply voltage fluctuation;
Regardless of the product's nature, external interventions affecting the product (e.g.: housing disassembly) that originate from third parties other than persons associated with the distributor (particularly, but not exclusively service or other agents);
Removal or alteration of the product's serial number;
If the product fault was caused by natural disaster or act of nature;
Scart Kft / Medimarket.hu, as distributor, is not responsible for the loss of data or information stored by the product or any damage suffered by the Consumer as a result;
Scart Kft / Medimarket.hu, as distributor, is not responsible for the dissolution or improper functioning of security codes/other such security passwords, or the resulting damage.
Buyer (Consumer) obligations:
Please use the product only through properly grounded wall outlets and electrical networks, and operate it with the nominal voltage indicated on the manufacturer's label and/or in the user manual;
Never place single-use batteries in a charger! Please use only the original cable(s) and accessories belonging to the device;
Please follow the instructions described in the product's user manual;
Keep the relevant documentation belonging to the product until the end of the warranty period;
Other important information:
Warranty claims will be rejected if they arise from improper storage of the product, particularly, but not exclusively: cracks, breaks, bent, detached or missing/incomplete elements, traces of contact with fire, liquid, acid;
If possible, send the product back in its original (or similar) packaging to ensure the product's safety and integrity during transport;
Unauthorized service activities, configuration changes and the application or use of improper or unauthorized software releases the Distributor from warranty obligations;
The warranty provided by the distributor does not affect the Consumer's rights provided by applicable Hungarian legislation;
In case of consumer disputes, the Consumer may also initiate proceedings by the conciliation board operating alongside county (metropolitan) chambers of commerce and industry.
ATTENTION!
Based on our experience, most devices sent to our service "due to faults" are fault-free and function normally.
Please take out your device's user manual and read through the Troubleshooting section before sending the device back.
Make sure you have eliminated the most basic sources of error!
There is often no device malfunction behind the phenomena described by users, nothing to repair!
The most common user errors are as follows:
- trying it in a faulty wall outlet (which has no power),
- the battery or accumulator is depleted (and the device does not respond),
- batteries inserted with reverse polarity,
- using it in an electrical network not protected against power outages or power fluctuations, so the device's safety system shuts down due to momentary power outage,
- electrodes and cables are not fully connected and do not make contact (treatment does not start), attempting electrotherapy treatment without placing electrodes on the skin and connecting them to the device with cables,
- furthermore, improper use (e.g., trying to start a program that does not work with the given accessory), etc.
Work and return shipping related to such errors is not part of warranty service!
If a device sent to the service center does not require repair, we charge a gross inspection fee of 5,000 HUF per device and also invoice the return shipping and cash-on-delivery costs.
POWER OUTAGE-VOLTAGE FLUCTUATION
Damage to electrical devices during power outages can primarily be attributed to the following causes:
Sudden power return after outage: When power service suddenly returns (e.g., after lightning strike or power failure), devices may face sudden high voltage and current. This event can propagate through the electrical network, which can cause overvoltage in devices, potentially damaging them.
Voltage fluctuations: During power outages, voltage fluctuations may occur during power failure or sudden return. These sudden changes can damage electronic components, such as capacitors or chips in devices.
Lack of surge protection: If electrical devices do not have adequate surge protection, then in case of power outage or lightning strike, the overvoltage appearing on the network can easily damage the devices.
To minimize damage caused by power outages and lightning strikes, consider the following precautions:
Use surge protection: Use surge protection devices to protect important electronic equipment.
These devices stabilize voltage and provide protection against sudden power returns.
Turn off devices before or during power outages.
These precautions can help prevent damage and malfunction of electrical devices due to power outages or lightning strikes.
