The Q-2200 lymphedema leg and arm treatment compression therapy unit kit. Equipped with L size leg and M size arm cuffs. Suitable for home and professional use.
What is it used for?
Price includes:
The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit. It is also known as a pressure therapy unit or wave massage unit. These three terms refer to the same device, with no difference.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device that complies with strict European quality and safety regulations.
The device operates based on a pneumatic compressor, essentially an "air pump".
Cuffs composed of multiple airchambers are attached to the device. The unit inflates and deflates these chambers sequentially, creating a wave-like massaging effect.
It compresses muscles and the vessels and lymph vessels within them, directing excess fluid towards the heart.
This mechanical action reduces edema (fluid between tissues), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers multiple modes, allowing customization of pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment times to individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 is effectively used for treating various conditions and diseases, including:
A variety of cuff types and sizes are available separately for the device. Choose the cuff that enables targeted treatment of the desired area.
Arm, leg, and waist cuffs each have special designs optimized for effective treatment of their respective areas. Up to three four-chamber cuffs can be connected simultaneously.
The arm cuff is especially useful for treating lymphedema of the arm after mastectomy. Leg cuffs come in below-the-knee and mid-thigh versions, available in various sizes. Waist cuffs are available as pant cuffs or belt cuffs, ideal for abdominal and hip treatments.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, so typically only one arm cuff is needed. For athletic muscle restoration, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a Velcro strap that fastens under the opposite underarm.
Before purchase, measure the circumference of your arm at the wrist, forearm, and below the underarm. Choose the appropriate size based on these measurements. The cuff is available in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line and small numbers show length in cm, the red line and bold numbers show circumference in cm.
Before selecting a cuff, measure the circumference of the lower limb at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and thigh base. Thigh-length leg cuffs are available in M-L sizes; if size does not fit, a zip extension is available.
This cuff is ideal for treating leg lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes can use it for muscle recovery. Depending on whether one or both legs are affected, purchase one cuff or a pair. If standard sizes don’t fit, extensions can increase the size.
M-L thigh cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted number show length in cm, the red line and bold number show circumference in cm.
Choose from pant cuffs or belt cuffs for treating the thigh, hip, buttocks, and upper abdomen.
These cuffs are needed when lymphedema extends to the thigh and the waist also requires treatment. They are also used for beauty treatments targeting cellulite and post-liposuction fat reduction.
The pant cuff provides more effective treatment by fully enclosing the upper thigh and buttocks. The belt cuff resembles a mini skirt, so the inner thigh and lower buttocks are not treated.
The pant cuff delivers full 360° treatment of the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema. Three rows of zippers allow size adjustment (smallest, middle, largest). It is excellent for beauty care purposes such as cellulite and wrinkle treatments. The cuff has a built-in airhose; no separate airhose is needed.
The belt cuff is applied where the thigh cuff ends (mid-thigh upwards) and fastened with Velcro. It is less effective than the pant cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and beauty care (cellulite). A separate airhose is required for the belt cuff. To choose the proper size, measure your abdomen (just below the navel) and hip circumference.
P = pant cuff - M-L belt cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted numbers indicate length in cm; red line and bold numbers indicate circumference in cm.
In some cases, combining cuffs and using multiple cuffs simultaneously may be necessary.
However, do not use more than one cuff simultaneously if you suffer from heart failure, post-heart attack state, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
The Power Q-2200 allows setting the most important treatment parameters, making it ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema and varicose veins home maintenance therapy, post-thrombosis conditions treatment, and more.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and waist (M-L pant cuff) cuffs. To select the right size, consult the size chart and measure your circumference!
Up to three cuffs (each with 4 chambers) can be connected simultaneously. Pressure is the same in every chamber.
The device offers 4 programs (A, B, C, D). Program B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D, and C is the strongest. Be patient: start with B or A programs and switch to stronger settings only as needed. All programs can be used for athlete muscle recovery or post-stroke rehabilitation.
Programs inflate from bottom to top: the lower chamber inflates first, then the next. Each inflated chamber compresses the tissue below, "squeezing out" edema (lymph). Treatment time can be set to 15 or 30 minutes; the device automatically stops when time expires.
Follow your doctor’s or therapist’s instructions.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without excessive pressure - overpressure is harmful. For initial treatments, use A or B program. Set pressure to 40 or 60 mmHg. Start with 15 minutes; observe results and, if necessary, increase to 30 minutes. Multiple 30-minute sessions are better than rare longer ones. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient - allow 3-4 sessions to evaluate changes; avoid frequent adjustments.
1. Set treatment time: pressing the "T" button lets you choose 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: by default all chambers inflate. To exclude certain chambers, tap the corresponding limb symbols; lit LEDs indicate active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use the "+" and "-" buttons. The selected value appears on the display. Pressure is the same in all active chambers.
4. Select a program: choose from 4 intensity settings from gentlest to strongest: B, A, D, C. Program C provides the strongest and fastest treatment but may not suit everyone. Without special instructions, use program B.
5-6. Set intervals: in programs C and D, pressing the interval button repeatedly lets you set breaks of 5, 10, or 30 seconds between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to start treatment with selected settings; press again to stop.
For lymphatic and venous circulation support, 40-60 mmHg is sufficient. International medical studies recommend this range. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries leading to tissue hardening over time. Excessive treatments may worsen your condition - avoid high pressure!
Exercise extra caution with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy or post-heart attack conditions. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs can overload circulation and cause heart issues.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue as it may promote spreading. However, in thyroid cancer, leg treatment is safe.
Regular use of the Power Q-2200 may result in:
Treatment duration and frequency depend on condition and individual factors. Typically, a session lasts 20-60 minutes and can be repeated once or multiple times per day if needed. Regular use over weeks is recommended for best results. Consult a lymph therapist for personalized plans.
Machine compression therapy may be unsuitable in some cases or require caution and lower pressure.
