The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit, also known as a pressure therapy or wave massage unit. These terms refer to the same device with no differences.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device that complies with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates based on a pneumatic compressor, essentially an "air pump".
It connects to cuffs composed of multiple airchambers. The device inflates and deflates these chambers in sequence, creating a wave-like massage effect.
This compresses muscles and the blood and lymph vessels within them, directing excess fluid towards the heart.
This mechanical action reduces edema (fluid between tissues), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers multiple modes, allowing customization of pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment durations to individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 effectively treats various conditions including:
Various types and sizes of cuffs are available separately for the device. Choose the cuff that allows targeted treatment of the desired area.
Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are specially designed for effective treatment of respective areas. Up to three 4-chamber cuffs can be connected simultaneously.
The arm cuff is particularly useful for treating post-mastectomy arm lymphedema. Leg cuffs are available in below-knee and mid-thigh lengths in various sizes. Waist cuffs come as pant or belt styles, ideal for treating the abdomen and hips.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, so typically only one arm cuff is needed. For restoring athletic musculature, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a Velcro strap that fastens under the opposite underarm.
Before purchase, measure the circumference at the wrist, forearm, and underarm of your arm. Based on these measurements, select the appropriate size. Cuffs are available in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line and lowercase number indicate length in cm, the red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
Before selecting a cuff, measure the circumference at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and thigh base. The mid-thigh leg cuff is available in M-L sizes; a zip extender is available if it doesn't fit.
This cuff is ideal for treating leg lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes can use it for muscle recovery. Buy one cuff or a pair depending on whether one or both legs are affected. Sizes can be extended with add-ons if standard sizes don't fit.
M-L thigh cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted number show length in cm, the red line and bold number show circumference in cm.
For the thigh, hip, buttocks, and upper abdomen, choose between pant or belt cuffs.
These cuffs are needed if lymphedema extends to the thigh and trunk also requires treatment. They are also used for beauty treatments like cellulite and post-liposuction fat reduction.
The pant cuff ensures better treatment with full 360° coverage around the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. The belt cuff resembles a mini skirt, leaving inner thigh and lower buttocks untreated.
The pant cuff offers full 360° treatment on the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema. Three zipper rows allow size adjustment (smallest, medium, largest). Also excellent for beauty purposes such as cellulite and stria treatments. The cuff includes a built-in airhose; no extra hose needed.
The belt cuff is used where the thigh cuff ends (mid-thigh upward) and fastens with Velcro. It is less effective than the pant cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and beauty care (cellulite). Requires a separate airhose. For correct size, measure your abdomen below the navel and hip circumference.
P = pant cuff - M-L belt cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted number indicate length in cm; the red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
In some cases, combining cuffs and using multiple cuffs simultaneously may be necessary.
However, do not use more than one cuff simultaneously in cases of heart failure, post-infarction status, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
The Power Q-2200 allows adjustment of key treatment parameters, making it ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema, varicose veins at home, post-thrombosis conditions, and more.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and waist (M-L pant) cuffs. To choose the correct size, see the size chart and measure your circumference!
Up to three cuffs (each with 4 airchambers) can be connected simultaneously. Pressure is equal in all chambers.
The device offers 4 programs (A, B, C, D). Program B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D, with C being the strongest. Start with B or A program and switch to stronger settings only if necessary. All programs can be used for sports muscle recovery or post-stroke rehabilitation.
Programs inflate from bottom up: lower chamber inflates first, then the next. Each inflated chamber applies pressure to underlying tissue, "squeezing out" edema (lymph). Treatment time is set to 15 or 30 minutes; the device stops automatically when time ends.
Follow your doctor's or therapist's instructions.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without excessive pressure - too much pressure is harmful. Start treatments with program A or B. Set pressure to 40 or 60 mmHg. Start with 15 minutes; monitor results and increase to 30 minutes if needed. It's better to have multiple 30-minute sessions than rare long sessions. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient - allow 3-4 sessions to assess changes; avoid frequent changes.
1. Set treatment time: press the “T” button to choose 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: by default, all chambers inflate. To exclude certain chambers, touch the corresponding leg icons; illuminated LEDs show active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use “+” and “-” buttons. Selected value displays on screen. All active chambers inflate with equal pressure.
4. Select a program: choose from 4 intensity programs, from gentlest to strongest: B, A, D, C. Program C offers the strongest and fastest treatment but may not suit everyone. Without special instructions, use program B.
5. Set intervals: for C and D programs, press interval button repeatedly to set 5, 10, or 30 seconds break between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to start treatment with selected settings; press again to stop.
Supporting lymphatic and venous circulation requires 40-60 mmHg pressure. International medical studies recommend this range. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries, leading to tissue hardening over time. Excessive treatments may worsen your condition - avoid high pressure!
Exercise caution with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction status. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg, and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs may overload circulation and cause heart problems.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue as it may promote spread. However, leg treatment is safe for thyroid cancer patients.
Regular use of Power Q-2200 may result in:
Treatment frequency and duration depend on condition and individual factors. Typically, a treatment lasts 20-60 minutes and can be repeated once or multiple times daily. For best results, regular use over several weeks is recommended. Consult a lymphatic therapist for a personalized plan.
Mechanical compression therapy may not be suitable in some cases or may require caution and lower pressure.
