Treatment types

The device is multifunctional, providing multiple electrical treatment modes. Each mode applies to solving different problems.

TENS

TENS, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, is mainly suitable for musculoskeletal pain relief. It can also be used for menstrual pain and to a lesser extent, cancer pain reduction.

EMS or NMES

Electrical muscle stimulation referred to as EMS or NMES in medical practice. Used for muscle-related problems. Main applications include muscle stiffness, muscle atrophy, slowing muscle strength and mass loss, improving blood circulation, and reducing muscle pain. When applied before musculoskeletal surgery, it improves surgical outcomes and is essential post-surgery rehabilitation support.

FES

FES or functional electrical stimulation is usually marked as a separate treatment mode. It is also muscle stimulation, done here for regaining some lost abilities.

After central paralysis, muscles may partially regain movement within days (in fortunate cases) but become clumsy and weak. Functional stimulation is muscle stimulation performed for strength recovery and relearning movements.

MENS or MCR

Microcurrent is an extremely mild current (TENS or muscle stimulation current is about a thousand times stronger).

Microcurrent can be used for pain relief (called MENS – microcurrent nerve stimulation) or healing (called MCR).

Microcurrent accelerates healing of inflammatory processes (including gingivitis, arthritis, arthrosis, etc.). It reduces edema, making it useful in acute treatment of herniated discs, lumbago, sciatica, and other radicular symptoms. It speeds healing of injuries, wounds, muscle tears, etc.

Microcurrent stimulates collagen production and with that, wound and scar healing – applicable also in beauty care, effective in restoring skin elasticity and wrinkle treatments.

Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is a current type useful for treating joint inflammations, sports injuries. It allows delivery of a (water-soluble, electrically charged) drug through the skin directly to the affected area, avoiding the digestive system. For example, in ankle injury, orally taken drugs distribute throughout the body with only a minimal amount reaching the ankle. It should be the opposite: much to the ankle, little to the rest. Iontophoresis helps this.

Special programs supporting soccer preparation

• Applicable for professional and amateur soccer players, regardless of the position.

Useful functions

Function	Details
	LAST 10 function: The device stores the last 10 executed programs. They can be quickly and easily selected and started from this list.
	AUTO STIM function Allows automatic execution of a program without intensity adjustment. The intensity is set according to the last execution of the program. AUTO STIM is only available for TENS and EMS programs recorded in the "Last 10" memory.
	Run Time function Allows modification of main parameters during an ongoing program: treatment time, frequency, pulse duration. Pressing the Function button activates editing.
	Favorite programs Allows saving most used programs (max. 15 per user) in memory for quick start.
	STIM LOCK function Allows locking programs saved in the Treatments menu. Important when lending to patients who must only run "locked" programs set by the therapist (without access to other programs).
	Create own program Allows creating and modifying up to 15 new programs, making the device extremely flexible and customizable to individual needs.
	2+2 mode Allows simultaneous execution of two different programs (EMS or TENS). Thus, two patients or two muscle groups can be treated together. Programming of channels 1-2 and 3-4 can be separated.
	Multiuser Allows multi-user, personalized usage. To access Favorites and Last10 functions, the user must log into their profile. Treatment plans can be set for up to 10 users.

Contraindications for electrical treatment

Electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, FES, ETS, CES, microcurrent, iontophoresis, denervated, selective current, Kotz, interferential, etc.) are safe and free of side effects.

There are only a few conditions contraindicating usage.

Currently, electrotherapy treatment is PROHIBITED for patients with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators. Other conditions are not exclusion criteria but require weighing pros and cons by the physician.
