Runner Pro EMS 4 channels muscle stimulator device, also including TENS / EMS / MCR–MENS / FES / Iontophoresis programs.
Package includes:
Runner Pro EMS device. Multifunctional electrotherapy device with TENS, EMS, MENS, MCR, FES, and Iontophoresis programs.
This device's hundreds of programs can help in treating, improving, healing, or preventing thousands of issues.
This multifunctional device offers various types of electrical treatments. Each treatment type is suitable for different problems.
TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is primarily used to relieve musculoskeletal pain. It is also used for menstrual pain and, to a lesser extent, cancer pain relief.
Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS or NMES) treats muscle-related problems such as stiffness, atrophy, slowed loss of muscle strength and mass, improving blood circulation, and reducing muscle pain. It improves surgical outcomes when used before musculoskeletal surgery and is essential during rehabilitation.
FES (functional electrical stimulation) is a special muscle stimulation mode used to regain lost functions, for example, after central paralysis where muscles partly regain movement but remain weak and clumsy. Functional stimulation helps regain strength and relearn movement.
Microcurrent is a very mild current (approximately a thousand times weaker than TENS or muscle stimulation currents).
Microcurrent (MENS) can be used for pain relief or (MCR) for healing.
It accelerates the healing of inflammatory conditions (such as tendonitis, arthritis, arthrosis), reduces edema, and is useful in acute treatment of herniated discs, lumbago, sciatica, and other nerve root symptoms. It speeds healing of injuries, wounds, muscle tears, etc.
Microcurrent stimulates collagen production enhancing skin and scar healing, making it effective in aesthetic treatments for skin elasticity and wrinkle care.
Iontophoresis is useful for joint inflammations and sports injury treatments. It allows delivering electrically charged medications dissolved in water directly through the skin to the affected area, bypassing the digestive system. For example, in ankle injuries, oral medication reaches the whole body, with only a minimal amount reaching the ankle; iontophoresis targets delivery primarily to the ankle.

Details
Electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, FES, ETS, CES, microcurrent, iontophoresis, denervated, selective currents, Kotz, interferential, etc.) are safe and without side effects.
Only a few conditions are contraindications.
Current position forbids any electrotherapy treatment for patients with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators.Other conditions are not absolute contraindications but require weighing benefits and risks (by the treating physician).
If uncertain about applicability, read Dr. Zsolt Zátrok's article on the Healthy for Life blog. Click here.
It is a common misconception that electrotherapy devices cannot be used with metal implants, prostheses, bone plates, screws. This is outdated. Read Dr. Zsolt Zátrok's article about implants and electrotherapy Click here.
