Disease and Its Symptoms
The ankle joint is a complex network of bones, ligaments, tendons and muscles. It is strong enough to support the weight of your body and allows movement. Nevertheless, it is prone to injury and the development of ankle pain. You can feel ankle pain both inside and outside the ankle. It may also occur along the Achilles tendon, which connects the calf muscles to the heel bone. Although ankle pain most often responds well to home treatments, completely eliminating it can take time.
The American College of Physicians (ACP) recommends a drug-free method — soft laser treatment — as the first option for treating low back pain. The ACP, or the American College of Physicians, with nearly 150,000 members is the second-largest medical society in the United States. The professional body already held in 2007 that drug-free approaches should be used first for low back pain; since then new research has supported their view […]
Ultrasound is a sound wave (that is, a mechanical vibration). Its frequency is so high that it cannot be heard by humans. During ultrasound treatment, vibrations occur in the affected area that are converted into heat. This warms the diseased tissues and speeds up circulation, which removes toxins from the area and brings healing substances. The ultrasound beam does not directly heal; it only starts, assists, and enhances the healing process. It's like giving a push to a stationary swing — without it the swing would not start to move […]
In this section I discuss the contraindications for the use of ultrasound, that is, when you should not use it. Click here to SUBSCRIBE to be notified about my next video
From my introductory video you can find out who I am and what goals drive me when creating the vlog and the blog.
This piece was also "inspired by life." A mother sent a terrified letter. She had taken her child to the doctor because of a cold and a mild sore throat picked up at kindergarten, and they left the clinic with prescriptions for three different medications. They were given a steroid inhaler, an anti-asthma drug (bronchodilator) and an antibiotic. The lady asked in panic: does this mean my child has asthma now?
Is medical treatment even necessary for a cold? I will state right away that in the vast majority of cases, absolutely not. Why do I say this? You will find out from my article.
The frequency of the ultrasound wave primarily determines how deeply it can penetrate the tissues and thus what kind of effect it can produce. I discuss this in this section. Click here to SUBSCRIBE to be notified about my next video
Acute and chronic conditions require ultrasound beams of different strengths (intensities). A recent condition, one a few weeks old, and one that has been present for several months must be treated differently. You can learn more from my video. The ultrasound beam can be continuous or pulsed (intermittent). Continuous beams deliver "a lot" of energy, which is excellent for chronic complaints, while fresh injuries are very sensitive to high energy, so in such cases pulsed (with short pauses) ultrasound is appropriate. Details in the film.
Ultrasound treatment doesn't require much time. You can learn the simple rules for determining the treatment time from this video. Click here to SUBSCRIBE to be notified about my next video
From spring to autumn, millions of weeds bloom along ditches, agricultural fields and neglected gardens and begin releasing their pollen. Many people react sensitively when they come into contact with these. This is hay fever, also known as allergic rhinitis. Many different pollens can trigger it, such as hazel, poplar, ragweed or wild hemp. Its symptoms include nasal congestion, itchy eyes and endless sneezing.
Plantar fascia inflammation (or medically fasciitis plantaris) is one of the most common causes of sole and heel pain. Beneath the skin of your sole runs a thick connective tissue sheet (formerly called fascia) from the toes to the heel bone. Its inflammation mainly occurs where it meets the bone, that is, at the heel bone or in front at the bases of the toes. The first symptom is a stabbing pain during the first steps in the morning. After a few steps it "warms up", but over time the pain lasts for increasingly long periods. It is very hard to "get rid" of. It can be treated at home, but be prepared for weeks — and more often months — of regular treatment to achieve full resolution.
