The Power Q-1000 Plus is an easy-to-use compression therapy unit. It is also known as a pressure therapy device or wave massage unit. All these names refer to the same device, with no difference.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is a medical device that complies with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates based on the so-called pneumatic compressor, an "air pump".
The device is connected to cuffs consisting of multiple airchambers. The machine inflates and deflates these sequentially, creating a wave-like massaging effect.
It compresses the muscles, the veins and the lymph vessels within them, directing excess fluid towards the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (fluid between tissues), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes the muscles.
The device offers wide-ranging applications in treating health problems as well as in sports and wellness.
The main application area is mild to moderate lymphoedema. Its simple operation means even elderly users who are generally not comfortable with technical devices can use it.
The device is successfully used in treating arm swelling after breast removal surgery.
It is suitable for alleviating complaints caused by varicose vein diseases.
Pregnant women especially benefit as the device can be safely used to reduce leg swelling caused by pregnancy varicose veins.
It also plays an important role in post-thrombosis rehabilitation, though treatment should only begin at least 3 months after the acute phase has passed.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is not only suitable for treating existing problems but is also excellent for preventive use.
In cases of limb paralysis or reduced mobility, regular use can significantly lower the risk of thrombosis.
The device effectively supports blood circulation and helps prevent the development of circulatory disorders.
The device is also excellent for aesthetic purposes, particularly for reducing cellulite symptoms.
For athletes, it offers the added benefit of significantly accelerating post-training recovery. The device helps faster metabolite removal and muscle restoration, thereby shortening recovery times.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is a reliable compression therapy unit offering wide-ranging applications for both health problem treatments and wellness and sports regeneration.
With proper use and safety protocol adherence, it effectively treats many circulation issues and swelling.
Thanks to various sizes and types of cuffs, almost every body part can be targeted specifically, making the device a truly personalized solution for diverse health and aesthetic problems.
Accessories are sold separately. Different types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part you want to treat.
Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health permits, can be used simultaneously.
The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating post-mastectomy arm edema. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to the knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come as belt or pant types to treat upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.
Lymphedema on the arm is usually unilateral – one arm cuff is usually enough. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.
Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and upper arm under the armpit. Choose size M or L.
M–L arm cuff: green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
First measure your ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Cuffs are available in knee-length and thigh-length (M–L–XL). They can be expanded with a zip extension if needed!
Knee-length, specifically for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment should start only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Only for edema up to foot or ankle; higher edema requires long cuff.
Ideal for lymphedema, lipedema, varicose complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used alone or in pairs, expandable.
H=half-height; M–L–XL=thigh length; green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
Pant and belt cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if the lymphedema reaches the thigh. Suitable also for cosmetic applications like cellulite and cavitation.
Completely surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Available in a wide size range with a three-row zipper (small–medium–maximum). Built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase needed.
Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).
P=pant; M–L=belt cuff; green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
Sometimes simultaneous use of several cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or untreated hypertension.
Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure is adjustable between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; start with 20 minutes for initial treatments.
The airchambers inflate sequentially - legs: ankle-calf-knee-thigh; arms: hand-forearm-elbow-upper arm - to optimize circulation improvement.
The airchambers inflate in sequence.
Follow safety instructions carefully. Do not use during acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure may dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas, as massage can spread infection.
In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack states, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients must consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid treating active tumors directly.
Frequency and duration must be individually determined. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent prolonged sessions. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.
Patience is key - lymphedema cannot be eliminated in a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually occurs after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.
Follow physician or therapist instructions.
General guidelines:
Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure can cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen condition - avoid high pressure!
In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarct states, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading circulation. Do not treat active tumors directly but feel free to treat areas away from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
