Accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the desired body area.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective areas. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health permits, used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating post-mastectomy arm edema. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to the knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come as belts or pant cuffs for treating the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Upper limb treatment

Lymphedema in the arm usually occurs on one side—a single arm cuff is generally sufficient. Athletes may use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro straps secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Before purchasing, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and under the upper arm below the armpit. Choose size M or L.

Lower limb treatment

First, measure your ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be extended with zip extensions if needed!

Knee-high leg cuff

Knee-high, specifically used for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment can begin only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Used only if edema is limited to the foot or ankle; longer cuffs needed for higher edema.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphedema, lipedema, varicose vein complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs and extended.

Trunk, buttocks, and abdomen treatment

Pant and waist cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if lymphedema extends to the thigh. They're also suitable for cosmetic treatments like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Completely surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. It has a wide size range (small–medium–maximum) thanks to a three-row zipper. It includes built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase needed.

Waist cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure is adjustable between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments only require 40-60 mmHg. Duration can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; start initial treatments at 20 minutes.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Carefully follow safety instructions. Do not use during acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure can dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas, as massage may spread infection.

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or after a heart attack, never exceed 40-60 mmHg pressure and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment of active tumors.

Treatment frequency and duration

Frequency and duration must be personalized. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent, longer sessions. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is crucial - lymphedema cannot be eliminated in a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually appears after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Guidelines for pressure settings

Follow your doctor’s or therapist’s instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) suffices to improve circulation; high pressure can be harmful.
• Begin initial treatments at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Monitor and increase pressure if necessary, but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions over a long single daily 120-minute session.
• Be patient - evaluate changes after 3-4 treatments; avoid changing settings every session.

Risks of improper treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg for lymphatic and venous circulation support. Higher pressure can cause microdamage and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen the condition - avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction conditions, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and only use one cuff to avoid overloading the circulatory system. Do not treat active tumors directly but treatment of areas distant from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients, is permissible.
