The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit. It is also called pneumatic compression or wave massage unit. These three terms refer to the same device, with no difference.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device that complies with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates based on a pneumatic compressor, essentially an "air pump".
Cuffs made of multiple airchambers attach to the device. The unit inflates and deflates these chambers sequentially, creating a wave-like massaging effect.
It compresses muscles, veins, and lymphatic vessels, channeling excess fluid towards the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (interstitial fluid), stimulates circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device features multiple modes for customizing pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment durations to individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 is effective for various conditions including:
Various types and sizes of cuffs are available for the device, purchasable separately. Choose the cuff that enables targeted treatment of the desired area.
The arm, leg, and waist cuffs each have a special design for effective treatment of the given area. Up to three four-chamber cuffs can connect simultaneously.
The arm cuff is particularly useful for treating lymphedema after mastectomy. The leg cuff is available in below-knee and mid-thigh versions in different sizes. Waist cuffs come as shorts or belts, ideal for abdomen and hip treatment.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, so typically only one arm cuff is needed. For athletic muscle recovery, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a Velcro strap that fastens under the opposite underarm.
Before purchase, measure your arm circumference at the wrist, forearm, and under the armpit. Based on these measurements, choose the correct size. Cuffs come in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line and small numbers indicate length in cm; the red line and bold numbers indicate circumference in cm.
Before selecting a cuff, measure circumference at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and upper thigh. The thigh-high leg cuff comes in M-L sizes; zippers for expansion are available if it doesn't fit.
This cuff is ideal for calf lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes use it to aid muscle recovery. Buy one cuff or a pair depending on whether one or both legs are affected. If standard sizes don't fit, extensions are available.
M-L thigh cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted numbers indicate length in cm; the red line and bold numbers circumference in cm.
For thigh, hip, buttock, and upper abdomen treatment, choose from shorts or belt cuffs.
These cuffs are needed if lymphedema extends to the thigh and trunk requires treatment. They are also used in beauty care for cellulite, dimpling, and post-liposuction fat reduction treatments.
The shorts cuff provides complete 360° coverage of the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen for more effective treatment. The belt cuff resembles a miniskirt, so the inner thigh and lower buttocks are not treated.
The shorts cuff provides full 360° treatment of the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema treatment. Three zipper rows allow size adjustment (smallest, middle, largest). Excellent for beauty treatments such as cellulite and groove bag treatments. The cuff contains a built-in airhose; no separate airhose is needed.
The belt cuff is applied where the thigh cuff ends (mid-thigh upwards) and fastens with Velcro. Less effective than shorts cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and beauty care (cellulite). A separate airhose is needed for this cuff. Measure your abdomen (just below the navel) and hip circumference to select the correct size.
P = shorts cuff - M-L belt waist cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted numbers indicate length in cm; the red line and bold numbers indicate circumference in cm.
Sometimes cuffs may need to be combined for simultaneous use.
However, do not use more than one cuff simultaneously in cases of heart failure, post-infarction condition, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled hypertension.
The Power Q-2200 allows setting the main treatment parameters, ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema and varicose vein maintenance therapy at home, post-thrombosis conditions, etc.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and waist (M-L shorts) cuffs. See the size chart and measure your circumference to choose the right size!
Up to three cuffs (each with 4 chambers) can be connected simultaneously. Pressure in each chamber is equal.
The device offers 4 programs (A, B, C, D). B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D, with C being the strongest. Start with B or A and increase strength if needed. All programs can be used for sports muscle recovery or post-stroke rehabilitation.
Inflation starts from bottom to top: first the lowest chamber, then next. Each inflated chamber applies pressure to underlying tissue, squeezing edema (lymph) out. Treatment time can be set to 15 or 30 minutes; the device stops automatically when time ends.
Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without excessive pressure — high pressure is harmful. For initial treatments, use program A or B with 40 or 60 mmHg pressure. Start with 15 minutes; observe results and increase to 30 minutes if needed. Frequent 30-minute sessions are better than rare long ones. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient — allow 3-4 sessions to evaluate changes; avoid frequent adjustments.
1. Set treatment time: press the “T” button to select 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: by default, all chambers inflate. To exclude certain chambers, tap the corresponding leg icons; lit LEDs show active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use “+” and “-” buttons. Selected value shows on display. All active chambers inflate at the same pressure.
4. Select program: choose from 4 intensities (B, A, D, C). B is gentlest, C strongest and fastest but may not suit everyone. If no special instructions, use B.
5. Set intervals: for C and D programs, multiple presses of interval button set 5, 10, or 30 seconds pauses between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to begin treatment with selected settings; press again to stop.
40-60 mmHg is sufficient for supporting lymphatic and venous circulation. International medical studies recommend this range. Higher pressures can cause micro-injuries leading to tissue hardening over time. Excessively strong treatments may worsen condition — avoid high pressure!
Exercise caution with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs can overload circulation and cause heart issues.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue as it may promote spread. However, leg treatment is safe in thyroid cancer.
Regular use of Power Q-2200 may lead to:
Treatment duration and frequency depend on condition and individual factors. Usually, a session lasts 20-60 minutes and may be repeated once or multiple times daily if necessary. For best results, regular use over weeks is recommended. Consult a lymph therapist for a personalized plan.
Machine compression therapy may be unsuitable or requires caution and lower pressure in certain cases.
