TensCare Back Pain Electrode for Lower Back and Back Treatments

TensCare Back Pain electrode is specially designed for electrotherapy treatments on the lumbar and back areas. The self-adhesive electrode can be connected to medical-standard devices. It features a snap connector, and the package includes four adapters to use with devices that have 2mm pin connectors.

Usage Instructions

Preparation:

• Ensure the skin is clean and dry.
• Do not place electrodes on damaged or numb skin.

Connection:

• Insert the lead connectors into the electrode’s connector sleeves.
• Ensure both connectors fit snugly.

Application:

• Turn off the device before applying electrodes.
• Place the electrodes on the pain area with the adhesive side against the skin.
• Gently press the electrodes onto the skin.

Removal:

• To remove, hold the edge of the electrode and peel off gently.
• Avoid pulling on the lead wires.

Storage:

• After use, place the electrodes back onto the protective plastic film.
• Store them in the resealable pouch.

Tips and Advice

• For optimal conductivity, ensure electrodes are clean and sticky.
• Replace electrodes when they lose adhesion.
• In warm conditions, the gel may soften.

Warnings

• If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use and consult a physician.
• Electrodes are for single-person use only.
• Use only with stimulators compliant with EN 60601-1 and EN 60601-2-10 standards.

Electrode Placement

• Upper back pain: Place between the shoulder blades.
• Lower back pain/sciatica: Place on the lumbar region.

Storage Information

• Electrode lifespan is 12-20 uses, depending on skin condition and humidity.
• When stored in original packaging, shelf life is 2 years.
• Avoid extreme temperatures and low humidity.
