Who is the Activa 700 for?
The G-Trode probe + 13 G-Pulse microcurrent programs bring classic clinical microcurrent treatments (wrinkle therapy, lifting, collagen-stimulation support, anti-ageing) to a semi-professional home level. With the G-Trode you can perform precise, controlled facial treatments. The general 60 beauty and 58 fitness/body-shaping programs also cover body contour beauty treatments.
2+2 mode lets you treat two clients at once with different programs. Alongside 21 special sport programs (running, cross-country skiing, golf), the 53 general sport and 7 ActionNow instant programs (startable during workouts) serve as a complementary training tool. Create Your Own Program (15 slots) → build tailored protocols for every client.
The STIM LOCK function does exactly that: you set the program for the patient and the patient can only use that program — they cannot access the other 280+ programs. This is important for safety: it prevents accidental activation of an inappropriate current type. Multiuser (10 profiles) + Create Your Own Program (15) enables separate treatment plans for each patient.
12 dedicated microcurrent programs (MENS and MCR) are available. Microcurrent is a current a thousand times milder than TENS — you often don't feel it, but research suggests it may help reduce inflammatory processes (arthritis, tendinitis, sciatica, lumbago) and support healing of injuries, muscle tears and postoperative scarring.
Among Globus' entry–midrange devices, the Activa 700 is the only one that offers dedicated programs for all three incontinence types: stress, urge and mixed. Important: pelvic probe treatment requires a separate probe-electrode (PeriProbe/PeriSphera), which is not included — order separately. Surface (adhesive) treatment is possible with the included electrodes.
The rehabilitation program package includes post-knee surgery protocols, quadriceps atrophy programs and shoulder wasting programs. The FES (functional stimulation) mode specifically supports re-learning muscle function — after paralysis or prolonged immobilisation. The 36 3S sequential stimulation programs also support neurorehabilitation and oedema management.
21 special sport programs dedicated to running, cross-country skiing and golf: warm-up, strength development, endurance, regeneration, targeted to sport-specific muscle groups. If you practice these sports competitively or at a serious hobby level, sport-specific protocols are more effective than generic EMS programs — proper muscle-fibre activation and interval schemes make the difference.
It helps on two pain-relief branches. Classical TENS (12 programs): analgesic TENS, endorphin TENS, modulated TENS, bursitis/tendinitis, chronic pain, chronic lumbago, muscle pain, menstrual pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis, knee pain, shoulder pain, etc. The microcurrent MENS branch (12 programs): a deeper, thousand-times milder current that may support reduction of inflammatory processes. The Activa 700 is Globus' semi-professional machine, so its program library is particularly rich. Ten main categories, four current types (TENS, EMS/NMES, MENS/MCR, FES), and a dedicated G-Pulse facial section.

The G-Trode probe is specifically designed for microcurrent facial treatments — it conducts the current evenly to the skin via the contact gel. The 13 G-Pulse programs bring clinical-level cosmetic protocols to the home: wrinkle therapy, lifting, collagen stimulation, anti-age and intensive firming. For body contour beauty: anti-cellulite, lipostress, shaping, firming (abdomen, thighs, buttocks, arms, bust), oedema reduction, invigorating massage, bust toning/shaping, post-pregnancy body recovery, revitalising massage. Long-term, patient work is needed — run in 6–8 week cycles, 3–4 sessions per week.
Body shaping, bio-pulse shaping, firming, toning, jogging, mass gain, weight-loss support, general fitness protocols. The bio-pulse technology works with variable waveform — gentler on the skin and producing a more natural muscle sensation.
General sport (53): aerobic endurance, endurance strength, maximal strength, explosive strength, reaction speed, hypertrophy, capillarization, active regeneration, warm-up, pre/post competition protocols, stiffness relief, motor point pen test program — for all limb and trunk groups.

3S sequential stimulation is Globus' own development: the current pulse arrives time-shifted across the 4 channels so the muscle contraction travels wave-like across the muscle group — more natural and gentler. Three main applications: neurorehabilitation (post-stroke or post-paralysis muscle re-learning), oedema management (venous or lymphatic issues), regeneration enhancement (post-exercise or post-surgery recovery).
ActionNow (7 programs): instant-start programs to combine exercise routines and muscle stimulation. Activatable during workouts to boost training effect (e.g. EMS-assisted squats).
Create Your Own Program (15): fully customizable — save 15 personal protocols with custom frequency, pulse width and interval patterns.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. A pacemaker, implanted defibrillator (ICD) or any electronic implant is an absolute contraindication — this applies to the G-Trode facial treatment and to TENS, EMS, microcurrent and FES modes. Electrical impulses, even extremely mild microcurrent, may interfere with implant function. If you have such a device, do not use the device under any circumstances.
Clean the device body, cables and especially the G-Trode probe before and after each use. Wipe the G-Trode with soapy water or an alcohol-based surface cleaner — this is critical because it is used directly on the face. Adhesive electrodes are a personal hygiene item — not recommended to share. It is advisable that everyone purchases their own electrode set.
Although both include microcurrent (MENS/MCR), they have different profiles:
- Premium 400: Sport + beauty focus, NO G-Trode probe, NO STIM LOCK, NO 2+2 mode. 174 programs (53 sport + 44 sport-specific + 36 beauty + 23 microcurrent + 18 3S sequential).
- Activa 700: Professional-midrange, aesthetician + physiotherapist focus. G-Trode probe + 13 G-Pulse programs for professional facial treatments. STIM LOCK, 2+2 mode, Create Your Own Program (15), AUTO STIM, Run Time. 288+ programs.
If you are purely an athlete → Premium 400. If you are an aesthetician, personal trainer, physiotherapist or a discerning "all-round" home user → Activa 700.
The two devices approach the professional-midrange from different professional directions:
- Activa 700: 4 current types (TENS+EMS+MENS+FES) + G-Trode facial treatment. Optimized for aestheticians, personal trainers and general professional home users.
- Genesy 600: 6 current types, clinically more refined (classic rehabilitation Kotz, interferential current, denervated stimulation, longer pulse width). Optimized for pure rehabilitation and clinical use, NO G-Trode.
If you need a cosmetic-beauty emphasis + G-Trode facial treatment → Activa 700. If you need pure clinical rehabilitation and complex current types → Genesy 600.
STIM LOCK is a safety/professional function especially useful for physiotherapists and personal trainers. The therapist sets the appropriate program for the patient and then "locks" it — it is saved in the Treatments menu. The patient can then only use the device with that configured protocol and cannot access other programs. This ensures the patient will not accidentally start an inappropriate current type or intensity and the provider retains full control over the loaned device.
Step by step: (1) Clean the facial skin by removing makeup and oils. (2) Connect the G-Trode to a channel using the gray cable. (3) Apply contact gel to the treatment area — enough to ensure even current conduction. (4) Start the selected program from the G-Pulse menu (e.g. “Lifting” or “Wrinkle treatment”). (5) The microcurrent is so mild you may often not feel it. (6) Move the G-Trode slowly in circular or linear motions over treatment areas (forehead, periorbital area, cheekbones, chin, neck). A session typically lasts 15–20 minutes, 2–3 times per week in 6–8 week cycles.
Yes. Channel pair 1-2 and channel pair 3-4 are independently programmable — even with different current types (e.g. TENS analgesia on one client, EMS strength training on the other). Intensities are set separately. This saves time for physiotherapists, sports teams and couples. IMPORTANT: a separate electrode set is required for each person for hygiene, and each user should create their own profile in the Multiuser menu.

Log into your profile (Multiuser)
If multiple people use it, select your profile. From here you can access Favorites (15 programs/user), Last10 and Create Your Own Program (15). Everyone can build their own treatment plan.

Choose the program
Choose from 10 major program groups: medical (TENS+microcurrent+rehab), fitness, beauty, G-Pulse facial, 3S sequential, sport, special sport, ActionNow. Use Last10 to quickly restart the last 10 favorites.

Apply electrodes or the G-Trode
For body treatments use the 4 pcs 5×5 cm and 4 pcs 5×9 cm adhesive electrodes with the 4 colored or 2 gray cables. For facial treatment connect the G-Trode probe and apply the contact gel (included) to the skin — this ensures even current conduction.

Start – AUTO STIM or manual
If you have used the program before, AUTO STIM automatically sets the last used intensity — you don't need to raise it from zero each time. For a new program, increase intensity manually and gradually, channel by channel.

Modify during the session (Run Time)
With the Run Time function you can change treatment time, frequency and pulse width during the program by pressing the Function button. This is rare in home devices — a feature typical of clinical machines.

2+2 mode – two patients at once
If you treat two people: activate 2+2 mode in the Function menu and assign separate programs to channels 1-2 and 3-4. Set intensities independently. Saves time in one session.

Adhesive electrodes: their adhesion gradually decreases after 25–30 uses. Replacements in 5×5 cm and 5×9 cm sizes are available separately. After use, place them back on the protective foil.
G-Trode probe: use with contact gel. Wipe clean after each treatment with a damp cloth or alcohol-based surface cleaner (outside and inside). Hygiene is critical because it is used directly on the face.
Contact gel: the package includes 1 bottle. Compatible refill gel is available in our online store. Storage: room temperature, sealed.
The Activa 700's incontinence programs can be run with surface (adhesive) electrodes, but treatment with a pelvic probe (PeriProbe or PeriSphera) is more targeted and may be more effective. These probes are available separately in the online store. Probe use concentrates the treatment on the pelvic floor muscles — much more targeted than the surface-electrode version.

When NOT to use the Activa 700?
The following situations may make electrotherapy dangerous or cause side effects. If any apply to you, do not start using the device without consulting your physician. These apply to the G-Trode facial treatment as well as body treatments.
- Wearing a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator (ICD) or any electronic implant — electrical impulses, including microcurrent, may interfere with their function
- Pregnancy (especially treatment of the lower abdomen, abdomen and lumbar region is forbidden, and G-Trode facial treatment should be avoided)
- Epilepsy or other seizure disorders of the nervous system
- Active malignant tumour near the treatment area
- Acute inflammation or infection on the skin to be treated (for G-Trode facial treatment e.g. active acne inflammation, herpes, fresh skin injury)
- Deep vein thrombosis or known clotting tendency in the limb to be treated
- Skin injury, fresh scar or open wound in the treatment area (avoid until healed)
- Severe cardiovascular disease (post-myocardial infarction phase, severe heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension)
- Placement of electrodes or G-Trode on the anterior neck (carotid sinus region), on the skull or over the heart area (unless explicitly approved by your physician)
- Reduced or absent skin sensation in the treatment area (neuropathy due to diabetes, sensory loss)
- Fresh metal implant (screw, plate) loosening or inflammation in the immediate vicinity — consult your treating physician
- Known sensitivity to electrical current, contact gel allergy or previous adverse reaction
- Children for unsupervised use (under 12 years only with adult supervision and physiotherapist guidance; G-Trode facial treatment not recommended under 16)

The Activa 700 is a CE-certified Class IIa medical device (according to MDD 93/42/EEC), suitable for both independent and professional environments (beauty salon, gym, physiotherapy clinic). Nevertheless, its use does not replace medical diagnosis, the individualised protocol of a qualified physiotherapist or prescribed medication. The device is intended as a complementary tool to be used alongside existing therapy.
With new or worsening symptoms (e.g. persistent pain, numbness, weakness) always consult your physician — electrotherapy does not replace medical evaluation and should not be used to "mask" symptoms that may indicate a serious condition. This warning is particularly relevant for microcurrent and G-Pulse facial treatments, where deeper processes under the treated skin area may be present.
When used in a professional setting (beauty salon, gym, physiotherapy clinic), provide each person with their own electrode set for hygiene. Cleaning the G-Trode probe after every use is mandatory. In Hungary, professional cosmetology activities require a valid qualification and activity permit.
