Moves Flex-Ion Hand and Finger Exerciser | yellow | 0.7 kg per finger
The Flex-Ion devices are designed to restore the strength of the fingers, hand, and forearm muscles, improving their flexibility and coordination.
They can be used at home or by physiotherapists, occupational therapists, or physical therapists. Resistance is indicated by different colors.
- Beige: 0.35 kg per finger, 1.1 kg for the whole hand
- Yellow: 0.7 kg per finger, 2.3 kg for the whole hand
- Red: 1.4 kg per finger, 4.5 kg for the whole hand
- Green: 2.3 kg per finger, 7.3 kg for the whole hand
- Blue: 3.2 kg per finger, 10.4 kg for the whole hand
- Black: 4.1 kg per finger, 14.1 kg for the whole hand
Typically, you start rehabilitation with a lower-resistance device and progressively move to higher resistance as strength improves.
General Use
Use Flex-Ion when muscle strength, range of motion, or coordination has deteriorated—often due to stroke, spinal injury, or surgery. It may also be needed after accidents, sports injuries, or immobilization in a cast. To restore original function, seek guidance from a professional (physiotherapist, occupational therapist, etc.). They will recommend the appropriate resistance level. Start with a lighter device and gradually increase resistance; using one that’s too strong can worsen symptoms by overexertion.
