The Flex-Ion devices are designed to restore the strength, flexibility, and coordination of the fingers, hand, and forearm muscles.
The device can be used at home or by physical therapists, movement therapists, and physiotherapists.
Resistance levels are indicated by different colors:
Typically, you begin rehabilitation with a lower resistance device and gradually move to higher resistance as strength improves.
The Flex-Ion is intended for conditions resulting in weakened muscle strength, decreased mobility, or coordination issues—often following stroke, spinal injury, or surgery. It can also be used after injuries or immobilization due to accidents, sports injuries, or casts.
For optimal recovery of original abilities, consult a specialist (physiotherapist, movement therapist, etc.). They will recommend the appropriate exercises and choose the correct resistance level. Starting too heavy can worsen symptoms through overexertion.
