Do you have chronic back, neck or joint pain? Want to regain muscle strength after an accident or sports injury? Experiencing incontinence symptoms? Looking for a single, affordable device that can help with all of this? The Myolito is a multifunctional electrotherapy device with 12 programs that can deliver TENS for pain relief, EMS for muscle stimulation and FES for incontinence treatment. Its 2 independent channels let you treat two different areas simultaneously. The Myolito is our most budget-friendly multifunctional device. Why choose the Myolito? 3 therapy modes, 12 programs in one device 4× TENS (pain relief), 3× EMS (muscle stimulation + rehab), 4× FES (incontinence) + 1 freely programmable memory. No need to buy separate devices for pain, strengthening and incontinence — Myolito covers all three in one compact unit. 4 TENS programs for chronic pain CONT (continuous), BURST, MOD (modulated), and specially timed TENS modes. For back, neck, lumbar, joint pain, sports injuries or neuropathic symptoms as a drug-free option. Typically used in 20–40 minute sessions, daily if needed. 3 EMS programs for rehabilitation and strengthening The WORK/REST pulse pattern models natural muscle function by alternating stimulation and rest. Useful for post-operative muscle rebuilding, inactivity-related weakness, athletic training supplementation and sarcopenia prevention in older adults. 4 FES programs for incontinence For stress, urgency, mixed and fecal incontinence. A probe is required for probe-based treatment — PeriSphera O (vaginal) or PeriProbe Analis (anal) are sold separately. Targeted pelvic floor stimulation can help improve sphincter control. Who and what is the Myolito good for? If you have chronic back, neck, lumbar or joint pain The 4 TENS programs are specifically aimed at reducing pain perception. Use cases: Chronic back/lumbar pain: due to sedentary work, poor posture or degenerative joint changes. Neck pain: from prolonged screen work or stress-related muscle tension. Arthritic complaints: arthritis, osteoarthritis, inflammatory conditions. Sports injuries: tennis elbow, tendinopathies, muscle strains. Neuropathic pain: nerve-origin pain, peripheral complaints. Use in 20–40 minute sessions 1–2 times daily as needed. TENS is a drug-free alternative — suitable for long-term use if appropriate. If you suffer muscle weakness after surgery or long inactivity The 3 EMS programs are designed to gently reactivate weakened or atrophied muscles. The WORK/REST pattern enables stimulation–rest cycles that model natural contraction–relaxation. Use cases: Post-knee surgery (ACL, meniscus): quadriceps strengthening. Post-shoulder injury rehab: rotator cuff activation. Muscle rebuilding after long casting or bed rest. Older patients: sarcopenia prevention. IMPORTANT: start post-op rehabilitation only with approval from your treating physician or physiotherapist. Typical schedule: 3–5 sessions/week, 20–30 minutes each. If you are an athlete and seek EMS as a training supplement The EMS function can supplement conventional training. Use cases: Active recovery: enhance circulation after sessions/competitions. Muscle development: as an adjunct to weight training. During injury: to maintain muscle tone when physical training is paused. It does NOT replace the professional Globus Sport Pro line (Triathlon, Runner, Cycling, Soccer Pro) which offers sport-specific programs. Myolito provides general sport-EMS protocols at a more affordable price. If you live with incontinence symptoms (stress, urgency, mixed, fecal) The 4 FES programs (Functional Electrical Stimulation) cover the full incontinence spectrum: Stress incontinence: leakage with coughing, sneezing or jumping due to pelvic floor weakness. FES can help strengthen pelvic floor muscles. Urge incontinence: sudden urge to urinate due to bladder overactivity. FES with inhibitory/relaxation patterns may reduce symptoms. Mixed incontinence: a combination of stress and urge types. Fecal incontinence: anal sphincter weakness — treated with PeriProbe Analis probe. For more targeted treatment a pelvic probe is recommended: PeriSphera O (vaginal) or PeriProbe Analis (anal) — sold SEPARATELY. The probes feature ruthenium/gold plating and can be used in case of metal allergies. If you have postpartum issues (pelvic floor + lower abdominal pain) Myolito is particularly versatile in the postpartum period: FES (pelvic floor): restoration of weakened pelvic floor muscles and reduction of postpartum stress incontinence. EMS (abdomen): recovery of abdominal muscle tone and body shaping. TENS (lumbar, neck): relieving neck and back pain related to breastfeeding. The 2 channels let you address two targets in parallel. IMPORTANT: treatment may only begin after the 6–8 week postpartum medical check-up with gynecologist approval. If you want to address MANY goals at once with 2 channels One of Myolito’s strengths is its 2 independent channels: you can run TWO therapies in parallel. Examples: FES (probe) + TENS (lumbar electrode): treat incontinence and chronic back pain simultaneously. EMS (knee rehab) + TENS (shoulder pain): rehab and pain relief together. EMS (left thigh) + EMS (right thigh): bilateral strengthening in one session. TENS (left neck) + TENS (right neck): symmetric pain relief. Intensity is adjustable per channel — one channel can run at higher intensity while the other at lower. If your physiotherapist wants to set a custom protocol (12th personal program) The freely programmable 12th memory lets you save clinician-recommended custom parameters — frequency (1–150 Hz), pulse width (50–450 µs), treatment time (1 minute to 10 hours) — so you don’t need to reprogram before each session; just start program 12. This feature is especially valuable in long-term rehab or specialized protocols (e.g. sport-specific prep or chronic pain regimens). If you are looking for a value-for-money multifunctional entry device In the MTR+ Lito lineup Myolito represents the multifunctional entry–mid level. Positioning in the portfolio: Dolito: TENS-only, 6 programs — entry-level pain relief. Rehalito: EMS-only, 5 programs — entry-level muscle stimulator. Myolito: TENS + EMS + FES, 12 programs — multifunctional baseline. MyoBravo: same 3 functions + 4 electrode pairs simultaneously + 23 sports programs — professional mid-level. If you are a beginner and need only one function → Dolito/Rehalito. If you need 2–3 functions without a large investment → Myolito. If you need a more advanced multifunctional device → MyoBravo. How to use it step by step? 1 Insert 9V battery The device runs on a 9V battery — one battery provides approximately 12 hours of runtime. With daily 20–30 minute use this lasts several weeks. No rechargeable battery charging or mains adapter is required — just replace the battery when needed. 2 Select therapy mode (12 programs) Use the PRG button to choose among 12 programs: 1–4 TENS (pain relief), 5–7 EMS (muscle stimulation), 8–11 FES (incontinence), 12 programmable. The LCD shows the selected program and parameters. 3 Attach electrodes or probe For TENS and EMS: the package includes 4× 40×40 mm electrodes (small areas) and 4× 40×80 mm electrodes (larger muscles) plus 2 stimulation cables. For FES incontinence: connect the appropriate probe (PeriSphera O vaginal or PeriProbe Analis anal — sold SEPARATELY) to one channel. The 2 channels let you treat different areas simultaneously. 4 Set intensity per channel (0–80 mA) Gradually increase intensity with the +/- buttons per channel. For TENS you should feel a pleasant tingling, EMS should produce visible muscle contraction, and FES should produce a palpable pelvic floor contraction. NEVER use a painful level. After 60 seconds the device automatically locks intensity — a safety feature. 5 Perform the treatment (1 minute to 10 hours adjustable) The program automatically controls the pulse pattern (CONT, BURST, MOD or WORK/REST). The LCD shows remaining time. Typical protocols: TENS 20–45 minutes, EMS 20–30 minutes, FES 20 minutes. The 12th custom program can run up to 10 hours for chronic protocols under physician guidance. 6 Therapy memory + weekly rotation The device memory records number and duration of sessions. This helps track progress and document usage during clinical consultations. Typical rotation: incontinence once daily 20 minutes, pain relief as needed, muscle strengthening 2–3 times/week. Improvement is usually noticeable with regular use within 4–12 weeks. Detailed look at the 3 therapy modes Myolito offers the three main home electrotherapy methods in a single device. Each is optimized for different goals and together they cover the most common complaints. TENS – Pain relief (4 programs) Myolito’s 4 TENS programs include the classic transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation protocols. Mechanisms: Gate-control theory: electrical impulses can block pain signal transmission to the brain. Endorphin release: the body releases natural morphine-like pain-relieving substances. Pulse modes: CONT (continuous): for acute pain — fast effect during the session. BURST: to stimulate endorphin systems — for chronic pain. MOD (modulated): variable frequency to prevent habituation — for recurrent chronic complaints. Typical uses: chronic back pain, lumbar pain, neck pain, arthritic conditions, sports injuries, neuropathic pain, menstrual cramps. Use in 20–40 minute sessions, 1–3 times daily as needed. EMS – Muscle stimulation and rehabilitation (3 programs) EMS directly stimulates muscles via electrical pulses to induce contractions. Mechanisms: Direct muscle contraction: current activates muscle fibers similar to natural neural commands. WORK/REST pulse pattern: alternating stimulation and rest models natural muscle rhythm. Use cases: Postoperative rehab: knee surgery, shoulder injury, muscle rebuilding after casting. Inactivity-related weakness: after prolonged bed rest or hospitalization. Athletic training adjunct: hypertrophy, endurance, recovery support. Sarcopenia prevention in the elderly: maintain muscle mass with age. Recommended 2–3 sessions per week, 20–30 minutes each. Rest days are necessary for muscle recovery. FES – Incontinence treatment (4 programs) FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation) provides targeted stimulation of the pelvic floor muscles via a pelvic probe. Mechanisms: Strengthening FES: activation and strengthening of weak pelvic floor muscles — for stress incontinence. Inhibitory FES: calming of an overactive bladder muscle — for urge incontinence. 4 programs cover the full incontinence spectrum: Stress incontinence: leakage when coughing, sneezing or jumping. Urge incontinence: sudden need to urinate. Mixed incontinence: combination of both types. Fecal incontinence: anal sphincter weakness (with PeriProbe Analis). A pelvic probe is required for treatment and must be purchased SEPARATELY: PeriSphera O (vaginal, for women) or PeriProbe Analis (anal). The probes have a gold-plated finish suitable for metal allergy. Recommended once daily, 20-minute sessions. A full course typically lasts 4–12 weeks. 12th programmable custom program The 12th program allows saving clinician-prescribed custom parameters: Frequency: 1–150 Hz Pulse width: 50–450 µs Treatment time: 1 minute to 10 hours Pulse mode: CONT, BURST, MOD or WORK/REST Ramp time: 0.1–9.9 seconds This is especially useful in long-term rehab where a custom protocol is required — start program 12 and the device runs the saved settings. Combining the 2 channels — multiple targets at once Myolito’s 2 independent channels allow treatment of TWO different areas. Intensity is adjustable per channel (both 0–80 mA range). What’s in the package? The Myolito base package contains all accessories needed to start TENS and EMS treatments immediately. A probe is required separately for FES incontinence therapy. 1 pc Myolito device (2-channel, multifunctional) 2 pcs stimulation cables 4 pcs 40×40 mm adhesive electrodes (for small areas) 4 pcs 40×80 mm adhesive electrodes (for larger muscle groups) 1 pc 9V battery 1 pc user manual (Hungarian + English) Maintenance and consumables Adhesive electrodes: adhesion gradually decreases after 25–30 uses. Replacement sets in 40×40 mm and 40×80 mm sizes are available. After use, store them back on the protective film. 9V battery: ~12 hours runtime. Remove battery during long storage. You may switch to a rechargeable NiMH 9V battery. Device cleaning: wipe externally with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Clean connector contacts (cable connectors) with a dry cloth. Probe cleaning: pelvic probes (PeriSphera O, PeriProbe Analis) must be cleaned after each use for hygiene — warm soapy water. NEVER boil or use alcohol. Orderable probes and accessories Accessories required for Myolito FES functionality are sold SEPARATELY: PeriSphera O vaginal probe: for women, general incontinence treatment. Activates pelvic floor muscles when inserted vaginally. PeriProbe Analis anal probe: for fecal incontinence or urinary dribbling in men. Replacement electrode sets: 40×40 mm and 40×80 mm — replace after approx. 25–30 uses. Rechargeable NiMH 9V battery + charger: more cost-effective for daily use. The probes have gold-plated finishes suitable for metal allergies. Frequently asked questions Can I use it with a pacemaker or implanted device? No. A pacemaker, implanted defibrillator (ICD) or any electronic implant is an absolute contraindication. TENS, EMS and FES impulses can interfere with such devices. If you have an implant, never use the device under any circumstances. Can I use it during pregnancy? Do NOT use on the abdominal area during pregnancy. On other body regions use only after medical consultation and approval. Postpartum treatment may begin after the 6–8 week medical check-up — especially useful for postpartum incontinence and abdominal-tone recovery. Can I use it for pain relief AND incontinence at the same time? No. Although the two channels operate independently, the device runs only one program type per channel at a time. You can treat different body areas simultaneously (e.g. right shoulder and left forearm) and adjust intensities separately. What is the difference between Myolito and the other MTR+ Lito devices? The MTR+ Lito line offers devices with different focuses: Dolito (TENS only): pain relief, 6 programs — entry-level price. Rehalito (EMS only): muscle stimulator, 5 programs — entry-level price. Biolito (FES only): incontinence-focused, 5 programs — entry-level price. Myolito (TENS + EMS + FES): multifunctional, 12 programs — higher than single-function models but three functions in one. If you ONLY need TENS or ONLY EMS → choose Dolito or Rehalito (cheaper). If you need MULTIPLE functions or have incontinence → Myolito is the better choice. What is the difference between Myolito and MyoBravo? Both are MTR+ multifunctional devices but at different levels: Myolito: 2 channels × 1 output each (2 electrode pairs). 12 programs (4 TENS + 3 EMS + 4 FES + 1 custom). Entry–mid-level pricing. MyoBravo: 2 channels × 2 outputs (4 electrode pairs, 8 electrodes). 31+3 programs (23 sport + 4 TENS + 4 incontinence + 3 custom). Higher priced. For occasional or basic use → Myolito is more economical. For regular, intensive sport-EMS or mid-level needs (4 electrode pairs simultaneously) → MyoBravo is preferable. Do I need to buy a probe separately for incontinence treatment? Yes. The Myolito base package contains surface adhesive electrodes — for FES incontinence you need a vaginal (PeriSphera O) or anal probe (PeriProbe Analis), which are sold separately. Choose the probe suited to your needs (PeriSphera O for women, PeriProbe Analis for men or fecal incontinence). What is the freely programmable 12th program? The 12th program lets you save clinician-recommended custom parameters — frequency (1–150 Hz), pulse width (50–450 µs), treatment time (1 minute to 10 hours), pulse mode (CONT/BURST/MOD/WORK/REST) — so the device runs exactly the prescribed settings without reprogramming each time. Very useful for long-term rehab or specific protocols. How long until improvement is expected? Depends on function and goal: TENS pain relief: relief can be felt after the first sessions; regular use needed for lasting effect. EMS muscle strengthening: noticeable differences in tone after 4–6 weeks with 2–3 weekly sessions. FES incontinence: with daily 20-minute use improvement is often felt within 4–12 weeks. Full course typically 12 weeks. Postoperative rehab: per physician protocol, usually 6–12 weeks. Consistency is key. The therapy memory helps track session frequency.
