Accessories for the device can be purchased separately. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the intended body part treatment.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for specific body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health status permits, can be used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm edema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs come in lengths up to knee or thigh. Waist cuffs are available in belt or pant forms for treating the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Upper Limb Treatment

Lymphoedema on the arm typically occurs on one side – usually one arm cuff is sufficient. Athletes may use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm Cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and upper arm under the underarm. Choose size M or L.

Lower Limb Treatment

First measure your ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. Can be expanded with zip extensions if needed!

Half-height Leg Cuff

Knee-length, specifically for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment starts only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Suitable for edema only up to foot or ankle level; for higher edema a long cuff is needed.

Thigh-length Leg Cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs and expanded.

Trunk, Hip, and Abdomen Treatment

Pant and belt cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if lymphoedema extends to the thigh. Also suitable for aesthetic treatments like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant Cuff

Fully surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Offers a wide size range (small–medium–maximum) with a triple-row zipper. Built-in airhose; no need to purchase additional airhoses.

Belt Cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff Combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or untreated high blood pressure.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure can be adjusted between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration is adjustable from 0 to 30 minutes; start initial treatments at 20 minutes.

Safety Instructions and Contraindications

Carefully follow safety instructions. Do not use during acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure could dislodge clots causing pulmonary embolism. Avoid use in skin infections like erysipelas as massage may spread infection.

In cases of heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post myocardial infarction, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment of active tumors.

Treatment Frequency and Duration

Frequency and duration must be determined individually. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent, longer ones. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected Effects

Patience is key - lymphoedema cannot be eliminated with a single session. Noticeable improvement typically appears after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Guidelines for Pressure Settings

Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient to improve circulation; high pressure can be harmful.
• Start with 40-50 mmHg pressure for 20 minutes in initial treatments.
• Monitor and increase pressure as needed but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions over one long session of up to 120 minutes daily.
• Be patient - evaluate changes after 3-4 treatments; avoid changing settings every session.

Risks of Incorrect Treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg for supporting lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure can cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen conditions – avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post infarction states, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to prevent overloading the circulatory system. Do not treat active tumors directly but safely treat areas distant from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
