Accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part you want to treat.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health permits, used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm edema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs come in knee-length or thigh-length versions (M–L–XL) and can be extended with zippers if needed. Waist cuffs come in belt or pant forms to treat the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Upper Limb Treatment

Lymphedema on the arm is usually unilateral – one arm cuff is typically enough. Athletes may use two arm cuffs to treat both arms at the same time. The cuff is fastened with Velcro under the underarm.

Arm Cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and underarm above the upper arm. Choose M or L size.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italicized value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.

Lower Limb Treatment

First measure the ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be expanded with zippers if needed.

Half-height Leg Cuff

Knee-length, specifically used for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment starts only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Suitable for edema only up to foot or ankle; for higher edema, a long cuff is necessary.

Thigh-length Leg Cuff

Ideal for lymphedema, lipedema, varicose symptoms, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs and extended.

Trunk, Buttocks and Abdomen Treatment

Pant and belt cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary when lymphedema extends to the thigh. They are also suitable for cosmetic applications such as cellulite and cavitation treatments.

Pant Cuff

Fully encircles the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Offers a wide size range (small–medium–maximum) with a three-row zipper. Built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase required.

Belt Cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastener. Less effective than the pant cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff Combinations

Sometimes it is advisable to use multiple cuffs simultaneously. Contraindicated in heart failure, heart attack, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure can be set between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration is adjustable between 0 and 30 minutes; start with 20 minutes for initial treatments.

The airchambers inflate in sequence – legs: ankle-calf-knee-thigh; arms: hand-forearm-elbow-upper arm – to optimize circulation.

Safety Instructions and Contraindications

Follow safety instructions carefully. Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure can dislodge blood clots causing pulmonary embolism. Avoid use in skin infections such as erysipelas, as massage may spread infection.

In cases of heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack status, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment of active tumors.

Treatment Frequency and Duration

Frequency and duration should be individualized. In general, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent, long sessions. Total daily treatment time on the same area should not exceed 120 minutes.

Expected Effects

Patience is key – lymphedema is not cured in a single session. Noticeable improvement usually appears after 5-10 consecutive treatments. With regular application, blood and lymph circulation improve, swelling, tension, and pain decrease.

Pressure Setting Guidelines

Follow doctor or therapist instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient for circulation improvement; high pressure can be harmful.
• Start initial treatments at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Monitor and increase pressure as needed, but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions over one long, up to 120-minute session.
• Be patient – evaluate changes after 3-4 sessions; avoid adjusting settings each time.

Risks of Incorrect Treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg for lymphatic and venous circulation support. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment can worsen conditions – avoid high pressure!

In cases of heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack status, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading the circulatory system. Do not treat active tumors directly, but it is safe to treat areas distant from the tumor, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
