The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit. It is also known as a pressure therapy device or wave massage unit. These terms describe the same device; there is no difference.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device that meets strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates based on a pneumatic compressor, essentially an "air pump".
It connects to cuffs composed of multiple airchambers. The unit inflates and deflates these sequentially, creating a wave-like massaging effect.
This compresses the muscles, the veins inside them, and lymphatic vessels, guiding excess fluid toward the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (interstitial fluid), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers multiple modes, allowing customization of pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment durations according to individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 is effectively used for treating various conditions, including:
Various types and sizes of cuffs are available for the device, which can be purchased separately. Select the cuff that targets the desired treatment area.
Arm, leg, and waist cuffs each have a specialized design for effective treatment of their specific areas. Up to three four-chamber cuffs can be connected simultaneously.
The arm cuff is especially useful for post-mastectomy arm lymphedema treatment. The leg cuff is available in lengths from below the knee to mid-thigh and comes in various sizes. Waist cuffs are available as shorts or belts, ideal for treating the abdomen and hips.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, requiring typically a single arm cuff. For athletic muscle recovery, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a velcro strap that can be attached under the opposite underarm.
Before purchase, measure your arm circumference at the wrist, forearm, and underarm area. Choose the correct size based on these measurements. The cuff is available in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line with lowercase number indicates length in cm; the red line with bold number indicates circumference in cm.
Before selecting the cuff, measure the circumference of your lower limb at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and thigh base. The thigh-high leg cuff is available in M-L sizes; if it doesn't fit, a zipper extension is available.
This cuff is ideal for treating leg lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes may use it for muscle regeneration. Depending on whether one or both legs are affected, purchase one cuff or a pair. If standard sizes aren't suitable, extensions can increase the size.
M-L thigh cuff sizes: green line with highlighted number indicates length in cm; red line with bold number indicates circumference in cm.
For treating the thigh, hip, buttocks, and upper abdomen, choose from shorts or belt cuffs.
These cuffs are needed if lymphedema extends to the thigh and trunk requires treatment. They are also used for beauty treatments such as cellulite and post-liposuction fat breakdown.
The shorts cuff provides more effective treatment by enclosing the entire thigh and buttocks. The belt cuff resembles a miniskirt, leaving the inner thigh and lower buttocks untreated.
The shorts cuff offers full 360° treatment on the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen, ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema. Three rows of zippers allow size adjustment (smallest, medium, largest). It is excellent for beauty treatments like cellulite and post-dimple scar therapy. The cuff includes an integrated airhose; no separate airhose is needed.
Apply the belt cuff where the thigh cuff ends (mid-thigh upwards) and fix it with velcro. It is less effective than the shorts cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and beauty care (cellulite). The belt cuff requires a separate airhose. To select the right size, measure your abdomen (just below the navel) and hip circumference.
P = shorts cuff - M-L belt waist cuff sizes: green line and highlighted number indicate length in cm; red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
In certain cases, combining cuffs—using multiple cuffs simultaneously—may be necessary.
However, avoid using more than one cuff simultaneously if you have heart failure, post-infarction condition, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled hypertension.
The Power Q-2200 allows adjusting key treatment parameters, making it ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema, varicose vein maintenance, post-thrombosis conditions, and more.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and waist (M-L-shorts) cuffs. Refer to the size chart and measure your circumference to select the correct size!
You can connect up to three cuffs simultaneously (each with 4 chambers). Pressure is the same in all chambers.
The device offers 4 programs (A, B, C, D). Program B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D; C is the strongest. Start with programs B or A and increase strength only if needed. All programs can be used for sports muscle regeneration or post-stroke recovery.
The chambers inflate from bottom to top: first the lowest chamber inflates, then the next. Each inflated chamber applies pressure on the underlying tissue, "squeezing out" edema (lymph). Treatment time can be set to 15 or 30 minutes; the device stops automatically when time elapses.
Follow your doctor's or therapist's instructions.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without high pressure—as excessive pressure can be harmful. For initial sessions, use program A or B. Set pressure at 40 or 60 mmHg. Start with 15 minutes; observe results and increase to 30 minutes if needed. It's better to do multiple 30-minute sessions than a few long ones. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient—allow 3-4 sessions to evaluate changes; avoid frequent adjustments.
1. Set treatment time: press the "T" button to select 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: by default, all chambers inflate. To exclude specific chambers, tap the corresponding leg symbols; illuminated LEDs indicate active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use the "+" and "-" buttons. The selected value appears on the display. All active chambers inflate at the same pressure.
4. Select program: choose from 4 intensity programs—from gentlest to strongest: B, A, D, C. Program C provides the strongest, fastest treatment but may not suit everyone. Use program B in the absence of special instructions.
5. Set intervals: for programs C and D, press the interval button repeatedly to set a 5, 10, or 30-second pause between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to begin treatment with selected settings; press again to stop.
Supporting lymphatic and venous circulation requires 40-60 mmHg, as recommended by international medical studies. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries leading to tissue hardening over time. Excessive treatments can worsen conditions—avoid high pressure!
Use caution with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction states. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs may overload circulation and cause heart issues.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue as it may promote spread. However, leg treatment is safe with thyroid cancer.
Regular use of the Power Q-2200 can lead to:
The frequency and duration depend on condition and individual factors. Typically, treatment lasts 20-60 minutes and can be repeated once or multiple times daily if needed. Regular use over weeks is recommended for best results. Consult a lymphatic therapist for a personalized plan.
Mechanical compression therapy may be unsuitable in certain cases or require caution and lower pressure.
