Do you leak when coughing, laughing or exercising? Or do you have a sudden, overwhelming urge to urinate? The Perfect PFE is a clinically tested electrostimulator developed specifically for women. With four targeted programs – stress, urge, mixed incontinence and pain relief – it can help restore pelvic floor muscle function. It is a single-channel device operated with a vaginal probe and a simple control interface. Why choose the Perfect PFE? 4 targeted programs – by type Stress, Urge, Tone maintenance and Pain relief programs – each uses different frequencies and durations. You don’t need to set parameters: select the program and the device runs on clinically tested settings. Designed specifically for women The package includes a vaginal probe – treatment can begin right after opening the box. The probe is shaped for female anatomy, allowing comfortable, discreet use. Clinically tested The Perfect PFE is a CE-marked medical device. Clinical studies support a reduction in the frequency of stress incontinence episodes and improvements in pelvic floor muscle strength. Compact and portable Operates on AA batteries and comes with a storage case. You can perform the 20-minute treatment at home or while traveling – discreetly and at your own pace. Who is it for? Stress incontinence – leaking when coughing or laughing Urine leakage occurs during physical exertion due to weak sphincter muscles. The Perfect PFE Stress program trains fast muscle fibers at 35–40 Hz for 20 minutes daily. Clinical trials have shown a reduction in the frequency of stress incontinence episodes. Urge incontinence – sudden urge Bladder overactivity causes a sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate. The Urge program uses a low frequency (10–12 Hz) to calm bladder muscle overactivity. Daily 20-minute use regularly can lead to noticeable improvement. Mixed incontinence – both types together If stress and urge symptoms occur together, the treatment can be split into two parts: the first 10 minutes on the Stress program (fast fibers), the second 10 minutes on the Urge program (bladder calming). The Perfect PFE includes both programs. Postpartum rehabilitation The Perfect PFE offers a comfortable at‑home solution for targeted training of pelvic floor muscles weakened by childbirth. Treatment can begin after the 6–8 week postnatal medical check. The Tone maintenance program can also be used to preserve muscle strength. If uterine or bladder prolapse is present, read my detailed article on treatment of uterine prolapse. Pelvic floor pain The Pain program uses TENS technology to target chronic pelvic pain. In cases of pain it may be used regularly, even daily, for up to 40 minutes. How to use the Perfect PFE 1 Select the program Use the control button to select one of the 4 programs: Stress (stress incontinence), Urge (urge), Tone (maintenance) or Pain (pain relief). For mixed incontinence, run the Stress and Urge programs one after the other. 2 Insert the probe Moisten the supplied vaginal probe with water or contact gel and insert it comfortably. Connect the cable to the device. 3 Set the intensity Gradually increase the intensity until you feel a definite but comfortable muscle contraction. The treatment should not be painful – if it is, reduce the intensity. 4 Complete the treatment The program controls the pulses automatically – you only need to get comfortable. The Stress and Urge programs last 20 minutes, the Pain program 40 minutes. The device switches off automatically at the end of the session. 5 Regular use Use once daily for 20 minutes. Improvements are typically felt with regular treatment within 4–12 weeks. Once muscle strength is achieved, switch to the Tone program (twice weekly) for maintenance. How does electrostimulation work? The Perfect PFE delivers gentle electrical impulses to the pelvic floor muscles via the vaginal probe. The impulses cause the muscles to contract and relax – this cyclical training can help restore muscle strength and improve bladder control. The stress programs target fast (phasic) muscle fibers with higher frequencies, which can contribute to increased urethral closure pressure. The urge program uses a lower frequency aimed at reducing bladder muscle hyperactivity. The pain relief program operates on TENS principles – it may help reduce the perception of pain. The Perfect PFE does not include a biofeedback function – the device does not measure muscle activity. If you need objective feedback on training effectiveness, consider the evoStim P (pressure biofeedback) or the evoStim E (EMG biofeedback) devices. Package contents The Perfect PFE includes the following accessories: 1 pc TensCare Perfect PFE device 1 pc vaginal probe 1 pc stimulation cable 2 pcs 1.5V AA batteries 1 pc storage case 1 pc user manual Spare probes and accessories Probes are for personal hygiene and individual use. Spare probes and contact gel are available on our category page. Frequently asked questions Is the treatment painful? No. You will feel a mild tingling and a firm muscle contraction. If you experience pain, lower the intensity. The treatment should never be painful. Can I use it during pregnancy? No. Electrostimulation devices are contraindicated during pregnancy. You may start treatment after the 6–8 week postpartum medical check. What is the difference between the Perfect PFE and the Biolito? The Perfect PFE is single-channel with 4 programs and includes a vaginal probe – specifically designed for women. The Biolito is dual-channel with 6 programs but does not include a probe (sold separately). The Perfect PFE is ready to use out of the box, while the Biolito is more flexible (can be used with surface electrodes). Is there a male version? Yes. The Perfect PFE for Men is available with a rectal probe and programs optimized for men – particularly recommended for post‑prostatectomy incontinence. How long until I see improvements? With regular daily 20-minute use, improvements are typically felt within 4–12 weeks. Once muscle strength is achieved, switch to the Tone program (twice weekly) for maintenance. Which program should I choose? Program choice depends on the type of incontinence: Stress (stress), Urge (urge), or both consecutively (mixed). The Tone program is for maintenance, and the Pain program is for pain relief. If unsure, consult your treating physician. Consult your treating physician before use! Important information The Perfect PFE is a CE-marked medical device (MDR) intended as an adjunct to medical treatment. A medical assessment is required before starting treatment to determine the type of incontinence. Electrostimulation can be an effective adjunct to pelvic floor muscle training. The Cochrane review's 2022 comprehensive analysis found high‑level evidence for the effectiveness of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) in treating incontinence.1 The information on this page is for guidance only. Home therapeutic devices are intended to complement medical treatment, not to replace it. Consult your treating physician in case of symptoms.
