SineBravo Biofeedback Device

The SineBravo is an electromyography (EMG)-based biofeedback device.

Biofeedback refers to the detection of biological processes using technical equipment.
SineBravo measures muscle physical activity and converts it into visible/audible signals. It detects muscle contraction even if it occurred involuntarily or was not visible.
SineBravo is not a diagnostic EMG but a biofeedback unit capable of continuous monitoring of muscle activity on two independent channels, providing significant help for performing rehabilitation exercises.

This configuration is primarily for rehabilitation of paralysis caused by stroke.

Stroke

Stroke usually leaves residual symptoms, typically varying degrees of paralysis in arms and legs, or at least clumsiness in movements.

Paralyzed limbs can be improved with massage, physiotherapy, electrotherapy muscle stimulation, and constant exercise—the "lost" movement can be retrained to the muscle, brain, and motor nerve.

The biofeedback device can be used in this process. Biofeedback itself does not treat but supports rehabilitation. After paralysis, the affected limb hardly moves—the biofeedback device senses and signals even the slightest movement attempt.

It aids recovery and relearning movement by letting the patient feel they are progressing in the right direction. Otherwise, they might give up since visible signals are minimal.

In the West, EMG is increasingly part of integrated rehabilitation treatments. Domestic doctors and therapists are also recognizing its importance.

SineBravo

The device is excellent for use both at patients’ homes and by doctors and physical therapists.

Muscle activity is indicated by yellow-green bar graphs on both sides of the screen and numerically on the bottom line of the display.
At the end of treatments, the screen automatically shows average muscle activity values. Treatment data stored in memory can be quickly reviewed anytime.

Detailed statistics of the last 365 therapy days are accessible.
SineBravo can be used connected to a personal computer or independently. Stored treatment data can be transferred to a computer using special software (sold separately), which also provides analysis.
