Treatment Types

The device is multifunctional, providing various electrical treatment modes. Each mode addresses different problems.

TENS

TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is mainly for relieving musculoskeletal pain. It can also be used for menstrual pain and, to a lesser extent, tumor-related pain relief.

EMS or NMES

Electrical muscle stimulation is referred to as EMS or NMES in medical practice. It addresses muscle-related issues like stiffness, atrophy, slowing muscle strength and mass loss, improving blood circulation, and reducing muscle pain. It is used pre-surgery to improve surgical outcomes and is almost essential for post-surgery rehabilitation.

FES

FES, or functional stimulation, is often designated as a standalone treatment mode. It is muscle stimulation aimed at recovering lost abilities. After central paralysis, muscles may regain movement partially but become weak and clumsy. Functional stimulation is used to regain strength and relearn movement.

MENS or MCR

Microcurrent is an extremely mild current (for example, TENS or muscle stimulation currents are a thousand times stronger). It is used for pain relief (called MENS - microcurrent nerve stimulation) or healing (called MCR).

Microcurrent accelerates healing of inflammatory processes such as conjunctivitis, arthritis, arthrosis, etc. It reduces edema, useful for acute treatments of herniated discs, lumbago, sciatica, and other root symptoms. It speeds healing of injuries, wounds, muscle tears, etc.

Microcurrent promotes collagen production, aiding wound and scar healing; this has cosmetic applications, improving skin elasticity and wrinkle treatment.

Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is useful for treating joint inflammations and sports injuries. It enables delivery of a drug dissolved in water and electrically charged through the skin directly to the affected area, bypassing the digestive system. For example, orally taken medicine for ankle injuries reaches the entire body with minimal amounts at the ankle. Iontophoresis helps deliver more medication to the ankle and less to other parts.

Useful Features

Function	Details
	LAST 10 function: The device stores the last 10 executed programs. They can be quickly and easily selected and started from the list.
	AUTO STIM function Allows automatic execution of a program without adjusting intensity. The intensity level is set based on the last execution of the given program. AUTO STIM function is only for TENS and EMS programs stored in the "Last 10" memory.
	Run Time function After starting a program, the main parameters can be changed during the process: treatment time, frequency, pulse duration. Accessible after pressing the Function button.
	Favorite programs Allows saving frequently used programs (up to 15 per user) and quick starting from memory.
	STIM LOCK function Allows locking programs saved in the Treatments menu. Important for lending to patients who must perform therapist-locked programs while other programs remain inaccessible.
	Create your own program Allows creating and modifying up to 15 new programs, making the device highly flexible and customizable.
	2+2 mode Allows simultaneous execution of two different programs (EMS or TENS). Thus, two patients or two muscle groups can be treated together. The 1-2 and 3-4 channels can be programmed separately.
	Multiuser Enables personalized use by multiple users. To access Favorites and Last10 functions, the user must log into their own profile. Treatment plans can be set for up to 10 people.

Contraindications of electrical treatment

Electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, FES, ETS, CES, microcurrent, iontophoresis, denervated, selective current, Kotz, interferential, etc.) are safe and free of side effects.

There are very few conditions that are contraindications.

Current stance: electrotherapy is FORBIDDEN for patients with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators. Other conditions are not exclusion criteria; the benefits and risks must be weighed by the treating physician.
