Treatment types

The device is multifunctional, offering various electrical treatment methods for different issues.

TENS

TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) is mainly for musculoskeletal pain relief. It can also be used for menstrual pain and to a lesser degree cancer-related pain.

EMS or NMES

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS or NMES) treats muscle-related issues: stiffness, atrophy, slowing muscle strength/mass loss, improving circulation, reducing muscle pain. Used pre-surgery to improve outcomes and as an essential rehab aid post-surgery.

FES

Functional electrical stimulation (FES) is a form of muscle stimulation used to regain lost functions. After central paralysis, muscles may partially recover movement but remain weak; FES aids strength recovery and relearning movement.

MENS or MCR

Microcurrent is an extremely low current (about 1/1000 of TENS/EMS currents). As MENS (microcurrent electrical nerve stimulation) it provides pain relief; as MCR it promotes healing. It accelerates inflammation healing (e.g. tendonitis, arthritis, arthrosis), reduces edema (useful in herniated discs, lumbago, sciatica), speeds up healing of injuries, wounds, muscle tears. It also stimulates collagen production, aiding wound and scar healing—useful in beauty treatments for skin elasticity and wrinkle reduction.

Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is useful for joint inflammation and sports injury treatment. It delivers a charged, water-soluble drug directly through the skin to the affected area, bypassing the digestive system. Unlike oral drugs that distribute throughout the body, iontophoresis targets the local area more effectively.

Useful functions

Function	Details
	LAST 10 function: Stores the 10 most recently used programs for quick selection and start.
	AUTO STIM function: Automatically runs a program using the last used intensity. Only for TENS and EMS programs saved in Last 10.
	Run Time function: Allows adjustment of main parameters (treatment time, frequency, pulse width) during a running program after pressing the Function button.
	Favourites: Save up to 15 of your most-used programs per user for quick start.
	STIM LOCK: Locks programs in the Treatments menu, ideal for lending the device to patients who must only use therapist-locked programs.
	Create custom programs: Create and modify up to 15 new programs for maximum flexibility.
	2+2 mode: Run two different programs simultaneously (EMS or TENS). Treat two patients or two muscle groups at once. Channels 1-2 and 3-4 are independent.
	Multiuser: Supports personalized use by multiple users. Each user logs into their profile to access their Favourites and Last 10. Up to 10 user treatment plans.

Contraindications

Electrotherapy treatments (TENS, EMS, MENS, FES, ETS, CES, microcurrent, iontophoresis, denervated, selective stimulation, Kotz, interferential, etc.) are safe and side-effect-free.

Only a few conditions are contraindications.

It is strictly forbidden to use any electrotherapy on patients with pacemakers or implanted defibrillators. Other conditions require weighing benefits and risks by the prescribing physician.
