When can it be a good choice?
With the two flexible applicators you can treat both knees using the same knee‑osteoarthritis program.
Two outputs do not mean two independent programs. For treating different complaints in parallel you need a model with 1+1 capability.
The program library includes protocols for several fracture types, delayed consolidation and femoral neck fractures.
The magnetic field can be applied through casts and non‑ferromagnetic fixations. Intensity adjustment may be necessary.
Four orthopaedic programs are available: hip prosthesis, post‑ACL surgery, cartilage surface procedures and post‑knee prosthesis.
Agree the treatment start, duration and applicator placement with the operating surgeon or rehabilitation specialist.
Specific programs are provided for back pain, cervical osteoarthritis and spinal arthrosis.
If you have numbness, muscle weakness, fever, injury or urinary/fecal incontinence, see a doctor first.
The factory osteoporosis program runs 8–10 hours daily. The basic package includes two local 30 × 10 cm applicators, which are not suitable for full‑body treatment. For that, TotalBody mat systems are appropriate.
For spine, hip or larger skeletal areas a Soft 4, Mat 100 or TotalBody mat may be more comfortable.
In Programming you can store up to 15 named custom programs. Field intensity, frequency, time and duty cycle can be set individually.
Higher Gauss, longer time or higher duty cycle are not automatically more effective.
The 14 non‑medical programs provide factory settings for drainage, cellulite, edematous states, skincare, scars and stretch marks.
Is the Magnum XL Pro right for you?
What exactly does two output channels mean?
The Magnum XL Pro does not have 1+1 function. Both applicators receive the same selected program, frequency and time.
Practical for bilateral joint complaints, but you cannot run two different programs at once.
The price includes two flexible applicators and two fixation straps.
The manufacturer specifies about 200 Gauss per channel. The 400 Gauss figure is the combined capacity of two active channels.
Factory applicators and optional accessories
Each applicator contains two coils. They can be wrapped around a joint or placed on either side of a long bone. Two 80 × 8 cm fixation straps are included.
For larger local or full‑body long treatments you can buy mat systems. Always check channel requirements and coil counts.
Connects two identical applicators to one channel. The channel power is shared between them; this does not create a new independent channel.
The Magnum XL Pro’s 46 factory programs
The program library consists of 32 Health/Rehab and 14 Beauty/Fitness programs. The evidence and legal status of the two groups differ.

Custom programs: up to 15 custom programs can be created. While a factory program is running, Gauss, frequency, time and duty cycle can be adjusted within the limits described in the manual.
How does PEMF treatment work?
The coils in the applicators generate a time‑varying electromagnetic field that can be applied through thin clothing, dressings and casts.
The actual exposure is determined by field intensity, frequency, duty cycle, time, the number of coils, polarity and applicator placement together.
200 Gauss per channel is not a universal clinical threshold and does not indicate a penetration depth given in centimetres.
Frequently asked questions
No. The same program runs on both channels. For two separate protocols you need a model with 1+1 function.
According to the current manufacturer data sheet, up to 15.
The price includes two flexible 30×10 cm applicators.
An optional battery allows short cordless operation. For multi‑hour treatments a mains power supply is recommended.
No. The manufacturer states about 200 G per channel, which is distributed among the connected coils. A 30×10 cm flexible applicator contains two coils of about 100 G each, giving about 200 G for the channel across those coils.
No. These are cosmetic/wellness classifications.
Generally yes. Rarely, drowsiness, restlessness, insomnia, nausea or warming of the applicator may occur.
There is no guaranteed time window valid for all indications. Response depends on diagnosis, protocol and applicator placement.
How to use it in five steps
Define the treatment goal
Select a factory medical program based on a known diagnosis or professional recommendation.
Connect the applicators
Switch on the device after connecting the applicators.
Place and fix precisely
Around a joint or fracture, the coils should preferably be parallel and facing each other.
Start a factory or documented custom program
Check Gauss, frequency, duty cycle and time settings. The same program runs on both outputs.
Perform the treatment while resting
For long programs place the device on a stable, ventilated surface and route cables safely.

Important information
The Magnum XL Pro is a PEMF device intended as an adjunct treatment. It does not replace diagnosis, post‑fracture or post‑operative follow‑up, medication or physiotherapy.
The cause of swelling must be clarified before using the “swollen legs”, “edematous states” or “drainage” programs.
