The Power Q-1000 Plus is an easy-to-use compression therapy unit. It is also known as a pressure therapy device or wave massage device. These three terms refer to the same device, with no difference.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is a medical device compliant with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates based on a pneumatic compressor, an "air pump."
Cuffs composed of multiple airchambers are connected to the device. The unit inflates and deflates these sequentially, creating a wave-like massaging effect.
It compresses muscles, the vessels within them, and lymph vessels, directing excess fluid toward the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (interstitial fluid), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers wide application possibilities for treating health issues and in sports and wellness.
Its main application is mild to moderate lymphoedema. Due to simple operation, even elderly or persons unfamiliar with technical devices can use it.
The device is successfully used for arm swelling after breast removal surgery.
It is suitable to alleviate symptoms caused by varicose veins.
Pregnant women benefit particularly as it can safely reduce leg swelling caused by pregnancy-related varicosity.
It also plays an important role in post-thrombosis rehabilitation, although treatment should start at least 3 months after the acute phase.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is not only suitable for treating established problems but also excellent for preventive use.
In paralysis or reduced limb mobility cases, regular use can significantly lower thrombosis risk.
The device effectively supports blood circulation and helps prevent circulatory disorders.
The device is perfect for aesthetic purposes, especially reducing cellulite symptoms.
For athletes, it is beneficial as it significantly speeds post-workout recovery. It aids faster elimination of metabolites and muscle restoration, shortening recovery time.
The Power Q-1000 Plus is a reliable compression therapy unit offering broad application possibilities in health issue treatment and wellness and sports regeneration.
With proper use and adherence to safety guidelines, it effectively treats many circulatory issues and swelling.
Thanks to various sized and typed cuffs, almost every body area can be targeted, making the device a truly personalized solution for diverse health and aesthetic problems.
Accessories are sold separately. Different types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part you want to treat.
Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health permits, can be used simultaneously.
The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating post-mastectomy arm edema. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to the knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come as belt or pant types to treat upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.
Lymphedema on the arm is usually unilateral – one arm cuff is usually enough. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.
Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and upper arm under the armpit. Choose size M or L.
M–L arm cuff: green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
First measure your ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Cuffs are available in knee-length and thigh-length (M–L–XL). They can be expanded with a zip extension if needed!
Knee-length, specifically for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment should start only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Only for edema up to foot or ankle; higher edema requires long cuff.
Ideal for lymphedema, lipedema, varicose complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used alone or in pairs, expandable.
H=half-height; M–L–XL=thigh length; green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
Pant and belt cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if the lymphedema reaches the thigh. Suitable also for cosmetic applications like cellulite and cavitation.
Completely surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Available in a wide size range with a three-row zipper (small–medium–maximum). Built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase needed.
Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).
P=pant; M–L=belt cuff; green line and italic value=length in cm; red line and bold value=circumference in cm.
Sometimes simultaneous use of several cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or untreated hypertension.
Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure is adjustable between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; start with 20 minutes for initial treatments.
The airchambers inflate sequentially - legs: ankle-calf-knee-thigh; arms: hand-forearm-elbow-upper arm - to optimize circulation improvement.
The airchambers inflate in sequence.
Follow safety instructions carefully. Do not use during acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure may dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas, as massage can spread infection.
In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack states, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients must consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid treating active tumors directly.
Frequency and duration must be individually determined. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent prolonged sessions. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.
Patience is key - lymphedema cannot be eliminated in a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually occurs after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.
Follow physician or therapist instructions.
General guidelines:
Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure can cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen condition - avoid high pressure!
In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarct states, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading circulation. Do not treat active tumors directly but feel free to treat areas away from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
