Power Q-1000 Plus Set – M-Size Leg Cuff Pair & M-Size Arm Cuff

Additional accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part you want to treat.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for the respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if health permits, used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm edema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs are available in calf-length or thigh-length (M–L–XL). They can be extended with zip extensions if needed. Waist cuffs come in belt or pant form for the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen treatment.

Upper Limb Treatment

Lymphoedema occurring on the arm is usually unilateral – one arm cuff is generally sufficient. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The cuff is secured under the underarm with Velcro.

Arm Cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and just below the underarm on the upper arm. Select M or L size.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italicized values indicate length in cm; red line and bold values indicate circumference in cm.

Lower Limb Treatment

First measure the ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Calf-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be extended with zip extensions if necessary.

Calf-Length Leg Cuff

Calf-length, specifically used for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment starts only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Suitable for edema limited to foot or ankle; longer cuffs are needed for higher edema.

Thigh-Length Leg Cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose vein symptoms, post-thrombotic states, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs and is extendable.

Waist, Hip, and Abdomen Treatment

Pant- and belt-cuffs can be chosen for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary when lymphoedema extends to the thigh. They are also suitable for cosmetic treatments like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant Cuff

Fully wraps around the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Features a three-row zipper for size adjustment (small-medium-maximum). Built-in airhose; no need to purchase an additional airhose.

Belt Cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff Combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, heart attack, cardiomyopathy, or untreated high blood pressure.

Before starting, set the correct pressure and time. Pressure is adjustable from 20–300 mmHg, but 40–60 mmHg is sufficient for most treatments. Treatment time is 0–30 minutes; begin with 20 minutes for initial sessions.

Cuff chambers inflate in sequence—legs: ankle→calf→knee→thigh; arms: hand→forearm→elbow→upper arm—to ensure optimal circulation improvement.

Safety & Contraindications

Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis—it may dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid with skin infections like erysipelas. In cardiac conditions (heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, post-infarction), never exceed 40–60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Consult an oncologist before use in cancer; do not treat active tumor areas.

Frequency & Duration

Treatment plans should be individualized. Generally, more frequent shorter sessions (20–30 minutes) are better than rare lengthy ones. Total daily use should not exceed 120 minutes.

Expected Results

Improvement is gradual. Noticeable changes often appear after 5–10 sessions. With regular use, swelling and discomfort decrease as circulation improves.

Pressure Setting Recommendations

Follow your therapist’s guidance. As general rules: start 40–50 mmHg for 20 minutes, observe the effect, then adjust up to a maximum of 60 mmHg. Extend treatment time rather than increasing pressure, and limit total daily time to 120 minutes. Be patient—allow 3–4 sessions before changing settings.

Risks of Incorrect Use

Using pressure above 60 mmHg can cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Excessive force or impatience may worsen the condition. In cardiac conditions, never exceed 40–50 mmHg and use one cuff only. Avoid treating active tumors directly.
