Set for leg and hip/buttock treatment with normal size leg and pant cuffs.Price includes: Power Q-2200 device (1 piece); Leg cuff: size M (1 pair, i.e. for 2 legs); Pant cuff: unisize, integrated airhose (1 piece); Airhose: 2x4 leads (1 piece); blind plug (1 piece).
The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit. It is also known as pressure therapy unit or wave massage device. These three names refer to the same device, with no difference.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device that complies with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates on the basis of a pneumatic compressor, an "air pump".
The device is connected to cuffs consisting of multiple airchambers. The unit inflates and deflates these sequentially. This creates a wave-like massaging effect.
It compresses muscles, the vessels in them, and lymph vessels. This directs excess fluid towards the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (fluid between tissues), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers various modes, allowing customization of pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment durations to meet individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 can be effectively used for treating various conditions and diseases, including:
The device supports various types and sizes of cuffs, which are available for separate purchase. Select the cuff that allows targeted treatment of the desired area.
The arm cuff, leg cuff, and waist cuff each have a specialized design for effective treatment of their respective areas. Up to three four-chamber cuffs can be connected simultaneously.
The arm cuff is particularly useful for treating post-mastectomy arm lymphedema. The leg cuff is available in knee-high and mid-thigh versions, in different sizes. The waist cuff is available as shorts or belt type, ideal for treating the abdomen and hips.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, so typically one arm cuff is needed. For restoring athletic musculature, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a Velcro strap that fastens under the opposite underarm.
Before purchase, measure your arm circumference at the wrist, forearm, and underarm. Based on these measurements, choose the appropriate size. The cuff is available in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line and small number indicate length in cm; the red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
Before selecting a cuff, measure lower limb circumference at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and upper thigh. The thigh-high leg cuff is available in M-L size; a zipper extender is available if it doesn't fit.
This cuff is ideal for treating leg lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes can use it for muscle regeneration. Depending on whether one or both legs are affected, purchase one cuff or a pair. If standard sizes don't fit, extenders can increase the size.
M-L thigh cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted number indicate length in cm; the red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
For treating thigh, hip, buttocks, and upper abdomen, choose between shorts or belt cuffs.
These cuffs are necessary when lymphedema extends to the thigh and trunk requires treatment. They are also used in beauty treatments such as cellulite and post-liposuction fat reduction.
The shorts cuff provides more effective treatment by fully encircling the upper thigh and buttocks. The belt cuff resembles a miniskirt, so the inner thigh and lower buttocks are not treated.
The shorts cuff provides 360° treatment on the upper thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema treatment. Three rows of zippers allow size adjustment (smallest, middle, largest). Excellent for beauty purposes like cellulite and groove treatments. The cuff includes an integrated airhose; no separate airhose required.
The belt cuff is applied where the thigh cuff ends (mid-thigh upwards) and fastened with Velcro. It is less effective than the shorts cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and beauty (cellulite) treatments. A separate airhose is needed for the belt cuff. To select the correct size, measure your waist (just below the navel) and hip circumference.
P = shorts cuff - M-L belt trunk cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted number indicate length in cm; the red line and bold number indicate circumference in cm.
In some cases, combining cuffs and using multiple cuffs simultaneously may be necessary.
However, do not use more than one cuff simultaneously with heart failure, post-infarction condition, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled hypertension.
The Power Q-2200 allows adjustment of key treatment parameters, making it ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema, varicose vein maintenance therapy at home, post-thrombosis treatment, and more.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and trunk (M-L shorts) cuffs. To select the correct size, consult the size chart and measure your circumference!
Up to three cuffs (each with 4 chambers) can be connected simultaneously. Pressure is the same in all chambers.
The device offers 4 programs (A, B, C, D). Program B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D, with C being the strongest. Be patient: start with B or A, and only switch to stronger settings if needed. All programs can be used for muscle regeneration in athletes or stroke recovery.
Programs inflate from bottom to top: first the lower chamber inflates, then the next. Each inflated chamber applies pressure to the underlying tissue, "squeezing out" edema (lymph). Treatment time can be set to 15 or 30 minutes; the device stops automatically when time expires.
Follow your doctor’s or therapist’s instructions.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without excessive pressure - too much pressure is harmful. For initial treatments, use program A or B. Set pressure to 40 or 60 mmHg. Start with 15 minutes; observe results and increase to 30 minutes if needed. It’s better to perform several 30-minute sessions than occasional long treatments. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient - allow 3-4 sessions to evaluate changes; avoid frequent adjustments.
1. Set treatment time: press the “T” button to select 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: by default, all chambers inflate. To exclude certain chambers, touch the corresponding leg symbols; illuminated LEDs indicate active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use the “+” and “-” buttons. The selected value appears on the display. All active chambers inflate with identical pressure.
4. Select program: choose among 4 intensity programs from gentlest to strongest: B, A, D, C. Program C provides the strongest and fastest treatment but may not suit everyone. Use program B if no special instructions.
5. Set intervals: for C and D programs, repeatedly pressing the interval button sets 5, 10, or 30-second pauses between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to start treatment with chosen settings; press again to stop.
40-60 mmHg is sufficient for supporting lymphatic and venous circulation. International medical studies recommend this range. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries leading over time to tissue hardening. Excessive treatment can worsen your condition - avoid high pressure!
Exercise caution with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction conditions. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs may overload circulation and cause heart problems.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue as it may promote spread. However, it is safe to treat legs in thyroid cancer.
Regular use of the Power Q-2200 can lead to:
Treatment frequency and duration depend on condition and individual factors. Typically, a session lasts 20-60 minutes and may be repeated once or multiple times daily as needed. Consistent use over several weeks is recommended for best results. Consult a lymphatic therapist for a personalized plan.
Mechanical compression therapy may not be suitable in all cases or requires caution and lower pressure.
