The Power Q-2200 is a mid-range compression therapy unit, also known as a pneumatic compression or wave massage machine. These terms refer to the same device with no differences.
The device is primarily designed for home use.
The Power Q-2200 is a medical device compliant with strict European quality and safety standards.
The device operates on the principle of a pneumatic compressor, or "air pump".
Connect cuffs composed of multiple airchambers to the unit. The machine inflates and deflates these chambers in sequence, producing a wave-like massaging effect.
This compresses muscles, veins, and lymphatic vessels, directing excess fluid toward the heart.
This mechanical effect reduces edema (interstitial fluid), stimulates blood circulation, and refreshes muscles.
The device offers various modes to customize pressure levels, inflation patterns, and treatment times to individual needs.
The Power Q-2200 effectively treats various conditions including:
The device offers various types and sizes of cuffs available for separate purchase. Choose the cuff that targets your desired treatment area.
The arm, leg, and waist cuffs each have a specialized design for effective treatment of their respective areas. Up to three four-chamber cuffs can be connected simultaneously.
The arm cuff is especially useful for treating post-mastectomy arm lymphedema. Leg cuffs come in below-knee and mid-thigh lengths in various sizes. Waist cuffs are available as pant-style or belt-style, ideal for treating the abdomen and hips.
Arm lymphedema usually affects one side, so a single arm cuff is typically sufficient. For restoring athletic muscle, consider using two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. The arm cuff has a Velcro strap fixed under the opposite underarm.
Before purchasing, measure your arm circumference at the wrist, forearm, and underarm. Use these measurements to select the appropriate size. The cuff is available in M and L sizes.
M-L arm cuff sizes: the green line and small numbers indicate length in cm; the red line and bold numbers indicate circumference in cm.
Before selecting, measure leg circumference at the ankle, calf, kneecap, and upper thigh. Mid-thigh leg cuffs come in M-L sizes; zippers for size extension are also available.
This cuff is ideal for treating leg lymphedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombosis conditions. Athletes can use it for muscle regeneration. Purchase one cuff or a pair depending on whether one or both legs are affected. If standard sizes do not fit, extensions can increase size.
M-L leg cuff sizes: the green line and highlighted numbers indicate length in cm; the red line and bold numbers indicate circumference in cm.
For treating the thigh, hip, buttock, and upper abdomen, choose from pant-style or belt-style cuffs.
These cuffs are needed when lymphedema extends to the thigh and trunk requires treatment. They are also used in beauty treatments for cellulite and fat reduction post-liposuction.
Pant cuffs provide more effective treatment by fully enclosing the thigh and buttocks. Belt cuffs resemble a miniskirt and do not treat the inner thigh or lower buttock.
Provides 360° treatment for upper thigh, buttock, and lower abdomen. Ideal for thigh-hip lymphedema. Three zipper rows allow sizing adjustments (smallest, medium, largest). Excellent for beauty treatments like cellulite and post-distension treatments. Includes built-in airhose; no separate airhose needed.
Applied where the leg cuff ends (mid-thigh up), secured with Velcro. Less effective than pant cuffs but more affordable. Suitable for lymphedema and cosmetic uses (cellulite). Requires a separate airhose. Measure your abdomen (just below navel) and hip circumference to select size.
P = pant cuff - M-L belt waist cuff sizes: green line and highlighted numbers for length (cm); red line and bold numbers for circumference (cm).
In some cases, combining cuffs or simultaneous use of multiple cuffs may be required.
However, never use more than one cuff simultaneously if you have heart failure, post-infarct state, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
The Power Q-2200 allows adjusting key treatment parameters, making it ideal for mild to moderate lymphedema, varicose veins maintenance therapy at home, post-thrombosis conditions, and more.
The device supports leg (M-L), arm (M-L), and trunk (M-L pant cuff) cuffs. Consult the size chart and measure circumference to choose correct size!
Up to three cuffs (each with 4 chambers) can be connected simultaneously. Pressure is equal in all chambers.
There are 4 programs (A, B, C, D). Program B is the gentlest, followed by A, then D, and C is strongest. Start with B or A and move to stronger settings only if needed. All programs can be used for muscle regeneration in athletes or stroke recovery.
The programs inflate from bottom to top: the lowest chamber inflates first, then the next. Each inflated chamber applies pressure to tissue below, "squeezing" out edema (lymph). Treatment duration is adjustable to 15 or 30 min; the unit stops automatically afterward.
Follow instructions from your doctor or therapist.
General guidelines: Compression therapy aims to improve blood and lymph circulation without high pressure—excessive pressure is harmful. Use program A or B initially, with 40 or 60 mmHg pressure. Start with 15 minutes, observe results, and if needed increase to 30 min. Multiple shorter treatments are better than infrequent long ones. Limit daily treatment to 120 minutes. Be patient—allow 3-4 sessions before assessing changes; avoid frequent adjustments.
1. Set treatment time: press “T” button to select 15 or 30 minutes.
2. Enable/disable airchambers: all chambers inflate by default. To exclude certain chambers, touch corresponding leg symbols; lit LEDs indicate active chambers.
3. Set treatment pressure: use “+” and “-” buttons. Selected value shows on display. All active chambers inflate with the same pressure.
4. Choose program: select from 4 intensity levels, from gentlest to strongest: B, A, D, C. Program C provides strongest and quickest treatment but may not suit everyone. If no special instruction, use B.
5. Set intervals: in C and D programs, press interval button repeatedly to select 5, 10, or 30-second pauses between cycles.
6. START/STOP button: press to start treatment with chosen settings; press again to stop.
For supporting lymphatic and venous circulation, 40-60 mmHg is sufficient. International medical studies recommend this range. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries leading to tissue hardening over time. Excessive treatments can worsen conditions—avoid high pressure!
Use with caution in heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarct conditions. Never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time; multiple cuffs may overload circulation and cause heart problems.
Avoid direct treatment of malignant tumor tissue, as it may promote spread. However, it is safe to treat the legs in thyroid cancer.
Regular use of Power Q-2200 can lead to:
Frequency and duration depend on condition and individual factors. Typically, one session lasts 20-60 minutes and can be repeated once or multiple times daily if needed. Regular use over several weeks is recommended for best results. Consult a lymph therapist for a personalized plan.
Mechanical compression therapy may be unsuitable or require caution and lower pressure in some cases.
