Accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part you want to treat.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected simultaneously to the device and used at the same time if health permits.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm edema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come in belt or pant styles to treat the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Upper limb treatment

Lymphoedema in the arm usually affects one side - generally one arm cuff is sufficient. Athletes can use two arm cuffs for treating both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Measure your arm before purchase at the wrist, forearm, and underarm part of the upper arm. Choose size M or L.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italic values = length in cm; red line and bold values = circumference in cm.

Lower limb treatment

First measure the ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be extended with zipper extensions if needed!

Mid-height leg cuff

Knee-length, specifically used for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment starts only 3-4 months after thrombosis). Applicable only for edema up to foot or ankle; higher edema requires long cuff.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs, expandable.

Trunk, buttocks and abdomen treatment

For upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen, pant and waist cuffs are available. These cuffs are necessary if lymphoedema reaches the thigh. Also suitable for cosmetic applications like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Fully encloses the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Offers a wide size range with a three-row zipper (small–medium–maximum). Built-in airhose; no need to buy an additional airhose.

Waist cuff

Belt-style with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes it is useful to use multiple cuffs simultaneously. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure is adjustable between 20 and 300 mmHg, though most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Time can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; start initial treatments at 20 minutes.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Strictly follow safety instructions. Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure may dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections such as erysipelas, as massage can spread infection.

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction conditions, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment on active tumors.

Frequency and duration of treatment

Frequency and duration should be tailored individually. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent, longer ones. Total daily treatment time must not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is key – lymphoedema cannot be eliminated with a single treatment. Noticeable improvements typically appear after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Pressure setting guidelines

Follow instructions from your physician or therapist.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient to improve circulation; high pressure can be harmful.
• Start with 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes during initial treatments.
• Monitor and increase pressure if needed but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions rather than long treatments up to 120 minutes daily.
• Be patient - evaluate changes after 3-4 treatments; avoid adjusting settings every session.

Risks of incorrect treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressures can cause micro-injuries and hardening of tissues. Aggressive treatment can worsen conditions - avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction conditions, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading the circulatory system. Do not treat active tumors directly, but you may safely treat areas distant from the tumor, e.g., legs of thyroid cancer patients.
