Accessories are available separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the target body part.

Arm, leg and waist cuffs are designed for specific body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and - if health allows - used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm lymphoedema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs come in knee-length or thigh-length (M-L-XL) sizes. They can be extended with a zipper if needed.

Upper limb treatment

Lymphoedema on the arm is usually unilateral – generally a single arm cuff is enough. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fastens the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm and the part of the upper arm under the underarm. Choose M or L size.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italic value denotes length in cm; red line and bold value denotes circumference in cm.

Lower limb treatment

First measure ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. Can be expanded with zipper extension if necessary.

Half-length leg cuff

Knee-length, specifically used for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment can only start 3–4 months after thrombosis). Used for edema only up to foot or ankle; longer edema requires a long cuff.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose vein symptoms, post-thrombotic states, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs and expandable.

Trunk, buttocks, and abdomen treatment

Pant and waist cuffs are available for upper thigh, hip, buttock and abdomen treatment. These cuffs are necessary if lymphoedema extends up to the thigh. Suitable also for cosmetic applications such as cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Completely surrounds thigh, buttocks and lower abdomen. Wide size range (small–medium–maximum) with three-row zipper. Built-in airhose; no need to buy additional airhose.

Waist cuff

Waist-shaped with Velcro fastener. Less effective than pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of several cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy or untreated high blood pressure.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure can be adjusted between 20 and 300 mmHg, though most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; start initial treatments with 20 minutes.

Airchambers inflate in order - legs: ankle-calf-knee-thigh; arms: hand-forearm-elbow-upper arm - for optimal circulation improvement.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Strictly observe safety instructions. Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure may dislodge clots causing pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas, as massage could spread infection.

For heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy or post-infarction states, never exceed 40-60 mmHg pressure and use only one cuff at a time. For cancer patients consult oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment of active tumors.

Treatment frequency and duration

Frequency and duration must be individualized. Generally, shorter and more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are preferred over long but infrequent ones. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is key – lymphoedema cannot be eliminated with a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually appears after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Pressure setting guidelines

Follow physician or therapist instructions carefully.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) suffices to improve circulation; high pressure may be harmful.
• Begin initial sessions at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Monitor and increase pressure as needed but never exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions rather than a single long (up to 120 minute) session.
• Be patient - after 3-4 treatments assess changes; avoid adjusting settings every session.

Risks of improper treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure may cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment can worsen condition - avoid high pressure!

For heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy or post-infarction states never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overburdening circulation. Do not treat active tumors directly but it is safe to treat body parts away from tumor, e.g. legs in thyroid cancer patients.
