Accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part to be treated.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for specific body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and used simultaneously if health permits.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for post-mastectomy arm edema treatment. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to the knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come in belt or pant forms for treating the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Treating the upper limbs

Lymphoedema in the arm is usually unilateral – one arm cuff is usually sufficient. Athletes may use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Measure your arm before purchase at wrist, forearm, and upper arm below the underarm. Choose M or L size.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italic values=length in cm; red line and bold values=circumference in cm.

Lower limb treatments

First measure ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee and thigh length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be extended with a zipper if necessary!

Half-height leg cuff

Knee-length, mainly for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (therapy starts only 3-4 months after thrombosis). Used only for edema up to foot or ankle; longer cuffs needed for higher edema.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose vein complaints, post-thrombotic states, and muscle regeneration. Usable individually or in pairs, extendable.

Trunk, buttocks, and abdomen treatments

Pant and waist cuffs can be chosen for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if lymphoedema extends to the thigh. Also suitable for cosmetic applications like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Completely surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Features a triple zip for wide size range (small-medium-max). Integrated airhose; no additional airhose purchase needed.

Waist cuff

Belt-shaped, with Velcro fastening. Less effective than pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, heart attack, cardiomyopathy, or untreated hypertension.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure can be set between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Treatment duration can be set from 0 to 30 minutes; start initial treatments with 20 minutes.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Follow safety instructions carefully. Do not use during acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure can dislodge clots and cause pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas as massage could spread infection.

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack conditions, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. For cancer patients, consult oncologist before treatment; avoid treating active tumors directly.

Treatment frequency and duration

Frequency and duration should be individually determined. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than rare, longer sessions. Total daily treatment time should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is key - lymphoedema cannot be eliminated in a single session. Noticeable improvement usually appears after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Pressure adjustment guidelines

Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient for circulation improvement; higher pressure may be harmful.
• Start first treatments at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Monitor and increase pressure if needed but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute treatments over a single long 120-minute session.
• Be patient - evaluate changes after 3-4 treatments; avoid adjusting settings every session.

Risks of incorrect treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure may cause microinjuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen condition - avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack states, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading circulation. Do not treat active tumors directly but it is safe to treat areas distant from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
