Accessories for the device are available separately. Different types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the desired body area treatment.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and—if health conditions permit—used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for arm edema after breast surgery. Leg cuffs are available in lengths up to knee or thigh. Waist cuffs come in belt or pant form to treat the upper thigh, hip, and lower abdomen.

Upper limb treatment

Lymphoedema on the arm is usually unilateral – usually one arm cuff suffices. Athletes may use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fastens the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and under the upper arm near the underarm. Choose size M or L.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italic values=length in cm; red line and bold values=circumference in cm.

Lower limb treatment

First measure ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee-high and thigh-high cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. Zip extensions can be added if necessary!

Half-height leg cuff

Knee-high, specifically for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment only starts 3–4 months after thrombosis). Applicable for edema only up to foot or ankle; for higher edema, long cuff is needed.

Thigh-high leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose symptoms, post-thrombotic states, and muscle regeneration. Usable alone or in pairs, expandable.

Trunk, buttocks, and abdomen treatment

For the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen, pant and waist cuffs are available. These cuffs are needed if lymphoedema extends to the thigh. Suitable also for cosmetic applications like cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Completely encircles the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Offers wide size range with triple zipper (small–medium–maximum). Built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase needed.

Waist cuff

Belt shaped, secured with Velcro. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulitis).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is appropriate. Contraindicated in heart failure, myocardial infarction, cardiomyopathy, or untreated hypertension.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure is adjustable between 20 and 300 mmHg, although most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration is adjustable between 0 and 30 minutes; start initial treatments with 20 minutes.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Follow safety instructions carefully. Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure can dislodge clots causing pulmonary embolism. Avoid use with skin infections like erysipelas, as massage could spread infection.

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy or post-infarction states, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid direct treatment of active tumors.

Treatment frequency and duration

Frequency and duration should be individualized. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent longer sessions. Total daily treatment should not exceed 120 minutes on the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is key – lymphoedema cannot be eliminated with a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually occurs after 5-10 consecutive treatments. With regular use, blood and lymph circulation improve, swelling, tension, and pain decrease.

Pressure setting guidelines

Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient for circulation improvement; high pressure can be harmful.
• Begin initial treatments at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Monitor and increase pressure if needed, but do not exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute sessions rather than one long session up to 120 minutes daily.
• Be patient - evaluate changes after 3-4 sessions; avoid changing settings every session.

Risks of incorrect treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure can cause micro-injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment may worsen the condition - avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overload of the circulatory system. Do not directly treat active tumors but you may treat areas remote from the tumor, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
