Accessories can be purchased separately for the device. Various types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part to be treated.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. Up to three cuffs can be connected to the device and, if the health condition permits, used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for treating arm swelling after breast surgery. Leg cuffs come in knee-length or thigh-length (M–L–XL). They can be extended with zip extensions if needed.

Upper limb treatment

Lymphoedema on the arm usually affects only one side – typically one arm cuff is enough. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and upper arm below the underarm. Choose size M or L.

M–L arm cuff: green line and italicized values = length in cm; red line and bold values = circumference in cm.

Lower limb treatment

Measure your ankle, calf, knee, and thigh first. Knee-length and thigh-length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. They can be extended with zippers if necessary!

Half-length leg cuff

Knee-length, specifically for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment should start only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Suitable only for edema up to foot or ankle; long cuff needed for higher edema.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose vein complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or as a pair, extendable.

Waist, hip, and abdomen treatment

Pant and waist cuffs are available for treating the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary when lymphoedema extends up to the thigh. Suitable also for cosmetic applications such as cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Completely surrounds the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Offers a wide size range (small–medium–maximum) with a three-row zipper. Built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase required.

Waist cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastening. Less effective than the pant cuff but cheaper. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is advisable. Contraindicated in heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or untreated hypertension.

Before starting treatment, set the appropriate pressure and duration. Pressure can be set between 20 and 300 mmHg, though most treatments require only 40-60 mmHg. Duration can be set between 0 and 30 minutes; for initial treatments, start with 20 minutes.

The airchambers inflate sequentially - legs: ankle-calf-knee-thigh; arms: hand-forearm-elbow-upper arm - to optimize circulation improvement.

Safety instructions and contraindications

Carefully follow safety instructions. Do not use in acute deep vein thrombosis; external pressure may dislodge clots causing pulmonary embolism. Avoid use in skin infections such as erysipelas, since massage can spread infection.

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack condition, never exceed 40-60 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time. Cancer patients should consult an oncologist before treatment; avoid treating active tumors directly.

Treatment frequency and duration

Frequency and duration should be determined individually. Generally, shorter, more frequent treatments (20-30 minutes) are better than infrequent, longer ones. Total daily treatment time must not exceed 120 minutes at the same area.

Expected effects

Patience is key – lymphoedema cannot be eliminated with a single treatment. Noticeable improvement usually occurs after 5-10 consecutive treatments. Regular use improves blood and lymph circulation, reduces swelling, tension, and pain.

Pressure adjustment guidelines

Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.

General guidelines:

• Low pressure (40-50 mmHg) is sufficient for improving circulation; high pressure may be harmful.
• Start first treatments at 40-50 mmHg for 20 minutes.
• Observe and increase pressure if needed, but never exceed 60 mmHg.
• Prefer multiple 20-30 minute treatments over one long treatment of up to 120 minutes daily.
• Be patient – evaluate changes after 3-4 treatments; avoid changing settings every session.

The risks of incorrect treatment

Use 40-60 mmHg to support lymphatic and venous circulation. Higher pressure can cause micro injuries and tissue hardening. Aggressive treatment can worsen the condition – avoid high pressure!

In heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-heart attack condition, never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff to avoid overloading the circulatory system. Do not treat active tumors directly, but feel free to treat areas away from tumors, e.g., legs in thyroid cancer patients.
