Power Q-1000 Premium Set - L Leg and L Waist Cuffs

Accessories are available for the device for separate purchase. Different types and sizes of cuffs are available. Choose the cuff suitable for the body part to be treated.

Arm, leg, and waist cuffs are designed for their respective body parts. The device allows up to three cuffs to be connected and, if health condition permits, used simultaneously.

The arm cuff is especially suitable for post-breast surgery arm edema treatment. Leg cuffs are available in knee-length or thigh-length (M–L–XL). They can be extended with zipper inserts if needed!

Upper limb treatment

Usually, lymphoedema in the arm is unilateral – one arm cuff is generally sufficient. Athletes can use two arm cuffs to treat both arms simultaneously. Velcro fasteners secure the cuff under the underarm.

Arm cuff

Before purchase, measure your arm at the wrist, forearm, and upper arm under the underarm. Choose size M or L.

Lower limb treatment

First measure the ankle, calf, knee, and thigh. Knee and thigh length cuffs (M–L–XL) are available. Can be extended with zipper inserts if necessary!

Half-length leg cuff

Knee-length, especially suitable for post-thrombotic syndrome treatment (treatment can begin only 3–4 months after thrombosis). Suitable only for edema limited to foot or ankle; higher edema requires long cuffs.

Thigh-length leg cuff

Ideal for lymphoedema, lipedema, varicose complaints, post-thrombotic conditions, and muscle regeneration. Can be used individually or in pairs, expandable.

Waist, buttocks, and abdomen treatment

Pant and waist cuffs are available for the upper thigh, hip, buttocks, and abdomen. These cuffs are necessary if lymphoedema reaches the thigh. They are also suitable for cosmetic applications such as cellulite and cavitation.

Pant cuff

Fully encircles the thigh, buttocks, and lower abdomen. Provides a wide size range (small–medium–maximum) with a triple-row zipper. Has built-in airhose; no additional airhose purchase required.

Waist cuff

Belt-shaped with Velcro fastener. Less effective than pant cuff but more affordable. Suitable for lymphoedema and aesthetic treatments (cellulite).

Cuff combinations

Sometimes simultaneous use of multiple cuffs is recommended. Contraindicated in cases of heart failure, infarction, cardiomyopathy, or uncontrolled hypertension.

The Power Q-1000 Premium offers all medically recommended settings for home maintenance treatment of lymphoedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombotic conditions.

The device has 6 programs (A1-A2-B-C-C-D-E).

Programs A1, C, and E are used for treating lymphoedema, varicose veins, and post-thrombotic conditions.

A1 is the mildest, C the strongest, and E intermediate. Start with A1 and only switch if results are inadequate.

Programs A1, C, and E can also enhance muscle regeneration for athletes and stroke patients.

These programs work from bottom to top: the lower chamber inflates first, then the next.

Program A2 inflates in the opposite direction (top-down) and should never be used for lymphoedema or varicose vein disease. It's recommended for certain peripheral arterial diseases and postoperative states to improve microcirculation.

The inflated chamber's pressure compresses the tissues beneath, "squeezing out" edema (lymph vessels).

The menu system is easy to operate. You can save settings so next time just press "start".

It is especially important that the chamber pressure is individually adjustable for optimal leg lymphoedema treatment.

Treatment time is adjustable from 5 to 99 minutes. The device stops automatically when time expires.

Treatment Guidelines

Follow your doctor or therapist's instructions.

General guidelines:

The goal is to improve blood and lymph circulation without excessive pressure; high pressure is not recommended.

Start initial treatments with program A1.

Set pressure so the lowest chamber has the highest pressure, decreasing upwards (e.g., 60-50-50-50-40 mmHg). Studies show the best results with this for lower leg lymphoedema.

Maintain each pressure for 13-15 seconds, allowing one full cycle per minute. Longer hold times provide more effective lymphoedema treatment.

Begin with a 20-minute treatment.

Monitor effects and increase to 30 minutes if needed. It's better to have multiple 30-minute sessions than infrequent long ones. Total daily treatment should not exceed 120 minutes.

Be patient. Effects should be evaluated after 3-4 treatments; avoid changing settings after each session.

Risks of improper use

For lymphatic and venous circulation, adequate pressure is 30-60 mmHg. International studies recommend this range.

Higher pressures can cause micro-injuries, potentially harden edematous tissues, and worsen conditions. Avoid aggressive, high-pressure treatments.

Patients with heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, or post-infarction require increased caution: never exceed 40-50 mmHg and use only one cuff at a time to avoid heart overload.

Avoid direct treatment of tumor tissue as it may promote spread. However, leg treatment is safe in thyroid cancer cases.

Expected results

• Improved mobility: Increases joint range of motion by reducing swelling and stiffness.
• Prevention of complications: Reduces risks of venous ulcers and thrombophilia.

Recommended usage duration

Frequency and duration depend on condition and individual factors. Treatments usually last 20-60 minutes and can be repeated daily as needed. For optimal results, use regularly over several weeks. Consult a lymph therapist for a personalized plan.

Contraindications and precautions

Machine compression therapy is not suitable in some cases and requires caution and lower pressures in others.

Contraindications:

• Severe peripheral arterial disease (PAD): High pressure may be harmful.
• Severe heart failure: Fluid shifts can be dangerous; treatments must be limited and cautious.
• Active DVT: Compression may dislodge clots; absolutely contraindicated.
• Acute skin infections (e.g., erysipelas): Massage can spread pathogens and worsen inflammation.

Use with caution:

• Post-lymph node removal edema (e.g., after Wertheim surgery) requires specialist supervision.
• Abdominal swelling related to tumors only under oncologist supervision.
• Heart diseases and hypertension require increased caution despite treatment: use only one cuff at lower pressure (40-50 mmHg) and prefer extending sessions over increasing pressure.
