Have you been managing your at-home lymphedema or lipedema for years and are you looking for a lymphatic massage (IPC) device that can store and recall your personalized protocol? The Power Q-1000 Premium is the flagship model of the 4-chamber home line. Program saving, fine pressure control, up to 3 cuffs usable simultaneously – for advanced home routines, as well as clinic and cosmetic use. What does the Power Q-1000 Premium offer? Program saving and fine control Individually customized protocols can be saved and quickly recalled. You can work with different settings for multiple indications (e.g., lymphedema + lipedema + venous insufficiency + sports recovery). Up to 12 channels, two limbs in parallel The 12-channel capacity allows the simultaneous use of up to 3 treatment cuffs. This reduces daily time investment for maintenance protocols. 4 chambers, reliable baseline protocol The clinically proven 4-chamber technology with an adjustable pressure range. It covers the full spectrum of stage 1–2 lymphedema and lipedema. For home, clinics and cosmeticians Thanks to program saving, a single device can be put into use quickly. An ideal choice for advanced home users, lymphatic therapist practices, or cosmetic clinics. Who is the Power Q-1000 Premium recommended for? Long-term lymphedema maintenance treatment For those who have been treating their stage 1–2 lymphedema for years and want to save and quickly recall the protocol agreed with their treating physician. The Premium’s program saving ensures reproducible treatment over many years. Details in the Lymphedema treatment at home guide. Lipedema stage 1–2, advanced home protocol Clinical studies (Atan 2020, Wright 2022) indicate that maintenance treatment of stage 1–2 lipedema with 4-chamber IPC + compression garment + exercise is clinically supported. The Premium’s program saving makes it possible to store the required protocol. Details in the Lipedema (fat edema) symptoms and treatment guide. Lymphatic therapist clinic, physiotherapy Ideal entry-to-mid-level device for small to medium lymphatic therapist or physiotherapy practices. Program saving enables quick treatment starts, and the 4-chamber technology covers the majority of stage 1–2 patients. More cost-effective than the 6- or 12-chamber Q-8060 / Q-8120 models. Cosmetic salons and wellness studios For pressotherapy-based cosmetic use, the Premium adds value: different client profiles (shaping, relaxation, regeneration) can be treated with tailored settings. The higher channel capacity allows up to three cuffs to be used simultaneously, which is time-efficient for cosmetic applications. Sports recovery, multiple protocols More serious amateur or hobby athletes can choose from multiple treatment protocols, enabling separate "post-competition" and "post-training" applications. Details in the Compression therapy for athletes guide. Long-term maintenance of BCRL For long-term maintenance of breast cancer-related arm lymphedema (BCRL), the Premium is ideal because the protocol set with the treating physician can be saved once and used reproducibly for many years. Detailed BCRL clinical background in the Radiation therapy and lymphedema article. How to use the Power Q-1000 Premium 1 Applying the cuff Place the 4-chamber leg, arm, or trunk cuff on the treated limb. The cuff should fit snugly but not tightly. 2 Select saved program or set new parameters The protocol agreed with your treating physician will load automatically. For a new setting, use the fine controls to set pressure, time, and inflation pattern. 3 Connection and channel selection The air tube connects the cuff to the control unit. For parallel treatment of two limbs, using a splitter allows activation of up to 3 cuffs (12 air channels) simultaneously. 4 Start the treatment The 4 chambers inflate and deflate sequentially from distal to proximal to "smooth" fluid along the limb toward open lymphatic pathways. Perform seated or lying down comfortably with the limb slightly elevated. 5 Wear compression garment after treatment To maintain the IPC result, compression stockings/arming sleeves should be put on immediately after treatment. This ensures that mobilized fluid does not return. What does the Power Q-1000 Premium 4-chamber device affect? 4-chamber technology is the most studied and clinically widely used form of pneumatic compression. The air chambers inflate and deflate sequentially from distal to proximal while "smoothing" interstitial fluid toward open lymphatic pathways along the treated limb. On the Premium, fine pressure control and program saving mean that a protocol defined by the treating physician can be reproduced precisely over many years. Use of the Power Q-1000 Premium may contribute to: mobilization of protein-rich interstitial fluid in stage 1–2 lymphedema, supporting venous return in chronic venous conditions, improved fluid distribution around lipedematous adipose tissue, stimulation of microcirculation at the muscle level for athletic recovery, stability of maintenance treatment long-term with precisely reproducible protocols. Setting up the Power Q-1000 Premium In the video I demonstrate device handling and the general default treatment program setup. Program saving and fine control available in the Premium make treatment effective. What’s included in the package? The Power Q-1000 Premium base package includes the following: 1 pc Power Q-1000 Premium control unit Attention! Treatment cuffs are sold separately and are not included in the base price. Maintenance and cleaning The inner surface of cuffs can be cleaned regularly with a damp wipe and disinfectant weekly. The control unit should be wiped only with a dry cloth. Keep air tubes free of twists and do not fold them sharply when storing. Compatible accessories and spare parts Several 4-chamber cuff types are available for the Q-1000 Premium: arm cuff, trunk cuff, leg cuff, cuff-protector stocking, and replacement air tubes. The full list is in the Lymphatic massage accessories category. Frequently asked questions What is the difference between the Q-1000 Plus and the Q-1000 Premium? Both devices are 4-chamber home lymphatic massage machines (IPC). The Q-1000 Plus is entry-level with a simple interface and a few basic buttons. The Premium is also 4-chamber but expanded with program saving and finer pressure control. If you plan to use IPC long-term with detailed customized protocols (e.g., different settings for different indications), the Premium is useful. If a fixed setting is sufficient for a classic daily routine, the Plus is perfect. What is the difference between the Q-1000 Premium and the Q-2200? Both are 4-chamber, up to 12-channel home IPC devices and are suitable for cosmetic use. The Premium’s extras are program saving and finer pressure control – particularly useful for long-term treatment protocols or storing multiple patient profiles. The Q-2200 is value-oriented where simpler functionality is adequate. How many programs can I save? The Power Q-1000 Premium supports saving a single custom protocol. The saving process is described in the user manual. Finalize the custom protocol together with your treating physician or lymphatic therapist. Is the Premium appropriate for stage 3 lipedema? It can be used, but if you can afford a more expensive device, consider choosing a 6- or 12-chamber (Power Q-8060, 8120) device that provides finer treatment. These generally give better results because the 4-chamber pattern cannot be tuned finely enough for thicker tissue accumulations. The Premium is optimal for stages 1–2. Stage 3 treatment decisions should be made clinically with your treating physician. Can one device serve multiple patients in a clinic? No. The device is intended for one patient at a time. For hygiene, cuffs in a clinic must be properly disinfected and aired (dried) after each patient! Can I use it with an acute skin infection or suspected thrombosis? NO. In cases of acute skin infection (erysipelas, cellulitis) or suspected deep vein thrombosis, treatment must be suspended and you should seek medical attention immediately. Use can be resumed only after completion of antibiotic treatment or exclusion of thrombosis, with treating physician approval.
